A LOT of people seem to overlook that line. I would be willing to hedge a bet that at some point Val will try to harm Angel with Husk stepping in, would not be surprised if Husk is stronger than Val. Husk is not one who seemingly shows his strength (apparently he even dislikes using his wings when he doesn't absolutely have to) without a very good reason so i guess ''beware the quiet ones'' might be in effect in a certain sense.

Once you start laughing at a villain then they can never become as threatening again. This is the reason authoritarians who rule by fear and intimidation hate being the butt of the joke as that removes their power. "The Producers" is the most effective takedown of Hitler ever as it makes him a joke rather than "Der Untergang" when he falls apart and becomes pitiful.

I started writing a fan fiction about the other Eldrich members IE the Other Fallen Angels. Seven so far one for each Sin, were Lucifer used to be Pride, His role was taken over by his ex before Lilith, The Angle Azizul. There is Also The Angel of Wrath Abaddon who is Azizul's current partner (Also not quite fallen as he still works with heaven). Rozarial The Angel of Sloth, an Ophanim. Araquil The Angel of Envy (could be the one in green). Finaly the fallen trio who go everywhere together. Rumjal The Arch Angel of Greed (The male in black). Kesabel The Angel of Lust (The lady in black), and Yakun The Angel of Glutteny (The one in pink) who was Lucifers best friend before he/she descended down to hell. I wrote that the Eldrichs don't live in hell but in a perpetually dead land in-between heaven and hell, Purgatory. Also there many other Fallen Angels in Purgatory such as Levitation, Gadree, and Samyaza.

What made me ponder that is the fact of how old he is portrayed, the spelling of his name, and that lower level demons either run away from him and/or commit various ways of suicide just by simply looking at his imposing visage. The spelling of his name is pretty similar to the names of the biblical Archangels (Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, etc). I think Zestial's actual name is (Zaziel) if I am not mistaken, so to me, it might make some sense, right? Lol. I am waiting for Velvette to get hers from Zestial at one point in a future episode, too. The way she disrespected and insulted him, along with the other overlords, might be an eventual mistake on her part. I could imagine that Alastors favor with Charlie would be for her to convince Lilith to break his deal. Maybe he thought that Charlies Soul wouldn't be worth as much to him as her freeing him If Charlie even has a soul. I mean, we only see human Souls in hell, so maybe Alastor can't take her soul, because doesn't have one in the first place. As far as we know, Charlie is the only child between an actual angel and a sinner, as well as been born in hell, so who knows what her deal is in that regard

Many of the Overlords do not seem to dislike Alastor. Zestiel and Rosie like him. Carmilla is indifferent to him. Vox hates him and by extension the V's.
Two other overlords not mentioned in the video include Roo, which fans believe is short for "The Root of All Evil" and has a pose shown in many different hellaverse videos, including Addict and a tree in the background of "Murder Family" from Helluva Boss, as the big-tittied milf says "The root of all evil" while attempting to burn Blitzo and Millie. Nifty is also almost definitely an overlord, as when Vaggie is explaining Alastor's past in the pilot, we see a blacked-out figure of Husk and Nifty behind Alastor while the camera pans upwards revealing many other overlords we see in the actual show, as well as some we haven't yet. Nifty is also shown to be very sadistic, similar to Alastor, and we already know that Alastor likes to trick overlords into giving him their soul. She also says that she loves being forced, which could be the reason why she is still close with and likes Alastor, while still having her soul being owned by him and essentially being his slave.
Roo is probably not an Overlord, but something much bigger. Also Vivzie confirmed her full name is 'Root of All Evil', not just a fan theory. She also mentioned Roo wouldn't come till much later but was one of the characters she's most excited for.
Overlords may think they have power, but I doubt they can compete with a Sin. Let's be honest, Ozzie can crush Valentino in his hand effortlessly, Bee can eat Velvet for Breakfast and Mammon can shatter Vox with his cane. Crimson would call the Vees "The weakest and most non-threatening of the Overlords, stuck up snobs who think they're hot but are just spoiled brats."
I'm not actually 5 I'm on my brothers acc but I'm pretty sure it was confirmed that the Vee's would be the main villains for season 2 so we will most likely see more of them in season 2

I thought that the Von Eldritch family were native demons rather than Sinners, possibly related to Leviathan the Prince of the Envy Ring given the son that Charlie used to date named Seviathan.
The overlord's only operate in pride, because they're sinners, they can't access the other rings, hence their power coming from pride alone. Vox only has control over pride's television broadcasts, Valentino only has control over pride's adult film industry, Velvet only has control over pride's social media, etc.
You know there is a big question I have about overlords and soul contracts that I want answered in the next season: You know how Overlords get power by making deals with others and owning their souls? Well, this is the big question I want answered above all else in Season 2: If an Overlord dies, what happens to the souls that they own? Do the souls die with the Overlord? If Valentino were to die in an Extermination, would Angel Dust die with him? If Adam killed Alastor in the battle, does Husk die too? Personally I think the owned soul do die with the Overlord owner if the owner is killed. Angel Dust could've had Alastor or even Lucifer deal with his issues yet never took the chance. Even when hearing about Vaggie being an Exorcist, he never took it upon himself to ask Vaggie to deal with his problem with Val.
How does one become an overlord in hell? That’s never really stated in the show. I know Sir Pencius tried to become an overlord in the beginning of the series before just giving up and going for redemption instead, but we don’t know how one actually becomes an overlord.
Through deals with people's souls as collateral. They've referenced it several times in the show (Val owning Angel's soul, Alastor owning Husk's, etc.). People make deals for different reasons (Angel for drugs & fame, Husk gambled away his soul in gambling games, etc.) You gain power based on how many & how powerful the souls are that you 'own' through deals. It's good to note that only Demon Sinners can become overlords & make deals to gain power - so people who have died, not hellborn demons.

I think people are just assuming that because the new hotel seems bigger than the oldest and in one video I saw where someone was reacting to this episode, the person said that the hotel seems to have a part for each member of the main cast, for exemple the part at the far left could be Alastor's part with a new radio tower, and the part at the opposite could be Lucifer's part because of the design of this part, or the central part of the hotel which could be the part for Charlie and Vaggie, probably as a reference to the fact that the couple are the owners of the hotel so basically the most important people in the hotel, but I think that's just a theory, and we'll most likely only know the truth when season two will come out
People think Velvette is Vox and Valentino's daughter. I see it differently. In my opinion, I think she is also in love with Vox. But she is just friends with Valentino. You can see in episode three that when she's talking to Vox, she acts like his gf. She says kisses, darling. I think Valentino and Velvette share Vox. I think both of them are just in love with Vox. But even though her and Valentino are friends, they still get a little jealous of the attention Vox gives them. Vox is basically the glue that holds the Vees together without him. Velvette and Valentino wouldn't be able to get along with each other, and the Vees would fall apart.

Nifty is also almost definitely an overlord, as when Vaggie is explaining Alastor's past in the pilot, we see a blacked-out figure of Husk and Nifty behind Alastor while the camera pans upwards revealing many other overlords we see in the actual show, as well as some we haven't yet. Nifty is also shown to be very sadistic, similar to Alastor, and we already know that Alastor likes to trick overlords into giving him their soul. Nifty could have been one of these, as we see that Nifty is very close with Alastor and also very oblivious/stupid at times. She also says that she loves being forced, which could be the reason why she is still close with and likes Alastor, while still having her soul being owned by him and essentially being his slave.
Roo is probably not an Overlord, but something much bigger.
Also Vivzie confirmed her full name is 'Root of All Evil', not just a fan theory. She also mentioned Roo wouldn't come till much later but was one of the characters she's most excited for.

Let's be honest, Ozzie can crush Valentino in his hand effortlessly, Bee can eat Velvet for Breakfast and Mammon can shatter Vox with his cane. Crimson would call the Vees "The weakest and most non-threatening of the Overlords, stuck up snobs who think they're hot but are just spoiled brats."

The overlord's only operate in pride, because they're sinners, they can't access the other rings, hence their power coming from pride alone. Vox only has control over pride's television broadcasts, Valentino only has control over pride's adult film industry, Velvet only has control over pride's social media, etc.
But in helluva boss season 1 ep8 (which takes place in gluttony ring) we saw an imp with a shirt that says "voxflix and chill"

You know how Overlords get power by making deals with others and owning their souls? Well, this is the big question I want answered above all else in Season 2:
If an Overlord dies, what happens to the souls that they own? Do the souls die with the Overlord?
If Valentino were to die in an Extermination, would Angel Dust die with him? If Adam killed Alastor in the battle, does Husk die too? Personally I think the owned soul do die with the Overlord owner if the owner is killed. Angel Dust could've had Alastor or even Lucifer deal with his issues yet never took the chance. Even when hearing about Vaggie being an Exorcist, he never took it upon himself to ask Vaggie to deal with his problem with Val.
How does one become an overlord in hell? That’s never really stated in the show. I know Sir Pencius tried to become an overlord in the beginning of the series before just giving up and going for redemption instead, but we don’t know how one actually becomes an overlord.
By being either really powerful or rich(dunno how to really explain)
Through deals with people's souls as collateral.
They've referenced it several times in the show (Val owning Angel's soul, Alastor owning Husk's, etc.).
People make deals for different reasons (Angel for drugs & fame, Husk gambled away his soul in gambling games, etc.)
You gain power based on how many & how powerful the souls are that you 'own' through deals.
It's good to note that only Demon Sinners can become overlords & make deals to gain power - so people who have died, not hellborn demons.

I think people are just assuming that because the new hotel seems bigger than the oldest and in one video I saw where someone was reacting to this episode, the person said that the hotel seems to have a part for each member of the main cast, for exemple the part at the far left could be Alastor's part with a new radio tower, and the part at the opposite could be Lucifer's part because of the design of this part, or the central part of the hotel which could be the part for Charlie and Vaggie, probably as a reference to the fact that the couple are the owners of the hotel so basically the most important people in the hotel, but I think that's just a theory, and we'll most likely only know the truth when season two will come out

People think Velvette is Vox and Valentino's daughter. I see it differently. In my opinion, I think she is also in love with Vox. But she is just friends with Valentino. You can see in episode three that when she's talking to Vox, she acts like his gf. She says kisses, darling. I think Valentino and Velvette share Vox. I think both of them are just in love with Vox. But even though her and Valentino are friends, they still get a little jealous of the attention Vox gives them. Vox is basically the glue that holds the Vees together without him. Velvette and Valentino wouldn't be able to get along with each other, and the Vees would fall apart.

They're Hell's corporate tycoons, heads of criminal organizations, and/or big-name celebrities. Deadly Sins and the Ars Goetia have actual formal positions in Hell's aristocracy.
