Yeah ive tried doing false chord covering but there is no possible way lol even in the studio version he has to do some fry/false combo. But then again he does get to do one line at a time in the studio.
false chord takes more lung capacity but you can.. Trust me.
Brenden Nabors I do false chords and I can sing this straight thru. screaming is just more natural for some people. just like singing comes naturally for people better. I can't clean sing for shit but my screams are amazing. so it's possible to do this. also have to take care of your vocals. I don't smoke. I rarely drink. I warm them up properly. Oli Sykes and Danny Worsnop are prime examples of people who can't scream worth a damn now when it comes to their older work.

NasonJewton not necessarily, I play a 4 string but I used the 4 thickest from a 5 string set and I can go down to an octave below bass E on my lowest
Yeah, but would he do that If he has a really good 5 string? Seems like the 5 string would be better equipped and you wouldn't have to do constant nut and truss rod adjustments. Plus a four string tuned that low is a bitch to intonate.

That was odd to me also but the range of Whitechapels basslines don't go to the higher pitches so he can tune lower and not have to worry about losing higher range

I've played shows in the summer and in 90+ degree weather only so much water and staying hydrated can do. songs I normally slay easily are just harder to do in direct heat. playing warped tour Is what I think should be a right of passage that all serious professional bands should have do. should prove if you can thrive in any kind of atmosphere. and thus determine if you're truly worth a record deal. I mean it's one thing to sound good In a studio. but it's another to replicate it live.

Maybe it's just me but they don't look like they're having much fun, just trying as hard to recreate it to studio quality for the crowd. they just stand there and play like they're nervous. I'd be completely okay with dropping some quality to give them free range of the stage. every other band does good with it, these guys just seem tired.
Spencer Meunier Phils always been kinda boring guy and the bands mostly like that, except usually when Ive seen them the 2 guitarists will get really into it and start slamming around. That mixed with the strobe lights at least makes it better than Rings of Saturns stage prescence lol
