missed these buses I remember when I first rode this bus way back in 1996 it was soo good to ride in. The last time I ride these buses was early 2008. But now im starting to get use to the new ones
A bus that carried hundreds of thousands over the years...I drove every bloody one no doubt...and the steering was brutal in all of them..pulling to one side was the norm...They were tired, and done, but it was indeed an art form to master them, all through the streets of Vancouver.
The new trolleys dewire like any other trolley bus. If anything they are worse in the winter when ice is on the lines. The onboard computer pulls the poles down when ice interupts the power
I really miss these buses . Those were my childhood memories . Riding on these bus .
I love trolleybuses, trolley wires, trolley poles and electric arcs! Beautiful and fantastic video!

you cunts were the worse drivers -- weekly complaints razzing out poxy BC Transit, the only operator like thatnout there 💡💡💡
Sics August 2023, they marked the 75th anniversary of Vancouver trolleybus
They kinda put you in mind of Septa’s old AM Generals In Philadelphia back in the 80’s
meanwhile, Frisco's fleet never slowed through junctions 💡💡💡
I remember going on these buses and the non trolley versions when I was younger
That somthing I forgot about, why do the new poles not arc when going through a switch?
Why the sparking wires?
I miss these buses, hopefully 2805 can be brought back to life.
BNSFfan2373 Any photos of the damage available somewhere?
Sad that 2805's controls got smashed by copper thieves. RIP controls.
These two trolleybuses that appear in the video currently have them as a museum piece ?
Great video!!....guess they have to retire eventually...Love riding them
yeah for sentimental value even though those buses leave loads of sparks coming out of the wires and that they are so slow in the corners
@kakerot7 Probably because it was High Floor? that way it seems bigger on inside
Hola amigos, excelente filmación nocturna,a que se deben esos chispasos que se producen en los cambios de lineas cada vez que pasan los trolebuses?
so many memories...
I miss those E 900 series buses. The only things left from that generation are those old gas powered or diesel powered ones
Yea, there nice if you like old school stuff.
2805 is preserved
what axles does buses have
@kakerot7
Maybe high floor conception ?

Yeah. I never went on one and I alawys wanted to try it
Andres se debe a que la lienea esta congelada
Afsana Rahsid: I use to drive these before
I see why they were retired; too many sparks!
Jasmine Johnston that's actually just the drivers having fun, if you draw a high amperage on a low use section of wire you can burn the dirt off.
@jasminejohnston6393 the case of retirement isnt sparks, It just was close to retiring operating service.
Yeah the new E40 FLRs are so much better anyway
Electric buses are cool, I wish Chicago still had them here.
Yes, they are nice..tho i like the old ones.
@Jomar574 wait... 2805 is still alive??!!?!!?
yes, but it does not move. no motor, it is still here as a non-moving display
to those they tragieron them trolley poles for my Argentine country
