You can tell that the moment Huyang learns that Kanan was Ezra's master he knows exactly what part to give to Ezra.

I love how the relationship between Huyang and Ezra started off bickering and condescending to a bonding moment and Huyang gifting Ezra with a one of a kind item that will help him connect with his late master. The whole thing has a very old and stodgy grandfather bonding with his young and impulsive grandson feel to it
I doubt that he only had 2 of these emitter he must have a Third one for Jacen lightsaber unless we learn of what happened to kanan lightsaber

Yes! Huyang warmed up to Ezra considerably once he learned that Ezra had been trained by one of his own former students. We've seen that Huyang puts stock in the master-apprentice lineage. Sabine confirming that Caleb/Kanan was Ezra's master reassures Huyang that Ezra is not just some wannabe playing with things he doesn't really understand, but instead that his training has its ultimate origin in the old Jedi Order, and in Huyang himself.

We'll all miss Kanan Jarrus for being a great Jedi Master for teaching Ezra very very well about everything he taught him

This scene and the ending where Chopper sees Ezra again almost had me in tears. Too bad Zebb wasn't there for the reunion.
I'm sure he'll show up eventually. Especially since we did see a live action version of him somewhere still being voiced by Steve Blum.

Really miss Kanan. He would be proud of the Jedi that Ezra and Sabine have become.

Ezra using the same emitter as Kanan breaks my heart
Having been around for so long, Huyang puts a lot of importance on the Jedi Master/Apprentice lineage. Once he knew who Ezra's Master was, in fact one of Huyang's own students, Huyang warms up considerably. Thus he goes from annoyed to pleased, especially when Ezra proves that he really does know what he's doing - using skills passed down from Huyang himself via Kanan.
I miss Kanan, he had the heart of rebel and the soul of jedi, he was balanced and fearless, could see things another way and most of all he helped people, he gave people hope and strength when the empire made them suffer.
And don't forget when ezra lost his parents kanan was there for him

I think Ezra should still wield a green saber. We saw what he could do with the force. He's wiser and more Zen than before. But it is really something to see him use the sister emitter that Kanan had
I was hoping for yellow. Blue usually signifies more warrior, green a master kind of, but yellow a scholar. If bald Ezra could warrant a green, Jesus Ezra def, could warrant a yellow imo

I personnaly thought that Ezra woud get an unsual color but technicly speaking hé did make His New lightsaber on a hurry using one of the crystal that huyang had laying around so he didn't pour His force inside the crystal personnaly i think Ezra should have had a green or yellow lightsaber
I like that Ezra went back to blue. It was what he started with and what Kanan had. Besides, with Ahsoka having white blades and Sabine and Luke using green, I'd like there to be at least one blue blade in the mix, since Cal Kestis' story isn't finished yet and have yet to see if Kata becomes his apprentice
I've got a feeling that Ezra would become the teacher of Jacen.

That’s why he didn’t take his old saber because he already had one in mind. He’s building a light saber similar to Kanan kind of like how Luke Skywalker build a similar light saber like Obi-Wan.

You can tell how happy Sabine is for having Ezra back.
I just noticed this time that Huyang pulls out that part like the one from Kanen's lightsaber when he learns he was Ezra's master. I have seen videos explaining how apprentices tend to build lightsabers similar to their master's. It was said they do it to honor their master. But I feel like it's something deeper than that. That it's like by doing so they carry a piece of their master with them though their lightsaber, a constant reminder of all the lessons they learned.
I honestly love all the spiritual aspects that seem to come up around lightsaber hilts, their construction, their shape, and what their configuration means.
Let's all hope to see Kanan's spirit appear in the live action
I wonder if that is Ezra's first crystal. He did lose it on malachor and we know Ahsoka returned after ezra saved her using the wbw. It would have been cool if she retrieved and kept it, planning on giving it back to him.
I always thought he reprinted on his first crystal and that was why it turned green in his second saber.
@@christopherpurakal8741 i dont think we see Ezra retrieve it but possibly. I wish they would actually explain how Ezra got his second lightsaber. It would be a nice episode idea for tales of the jedi, especially as it would be Ezra learning to use the darkside in secret.
@janoslambert-cannon7146 We don't see Ezra retrieve the first crystal after Vader destroys his saber, but his green one makes the same noises as the first saber. Which is what leads me to believe he picked it up before heading to Kanan. I think the crystal Ezra uses here is the one on his belt - there was one on there earlier
I really didn't expect for Ezra to make another lightsaber but i am so happy he did and to see it blue too
let's be honest, we shed a tear seeing ezra build his new lightsaber with the 2nd of the 2 emmiters the other being Kanan's
I have to say that Kanan was a great teacher for Ezra
Ezra's new lightsaber is ultimately awesome and it has a blue blade just like his first one he uses during seasons 1 and 2 of the rebels series. I hope that the Hasbro toy and games company can make Ezra's lightsaber from the Ahsoka series as a toy for Hasbro Lightsaber Forge in stores for both Walmart and Target.
I’m not gon lie I feel bad man now that this season is over wit I wonder is they gonna make a rebels series or a Ezra bridger series to continue his story and show him training and mentoring kanan son

Someone needs to give us a comic about Huyang’s lightsaber training adventures. And how he arrived in a mysterious blue box of unknown origins, which is fully canon mind you.

Huyang is the Star Wars galaxy's oldest character with a definitive timeline, and he's estimated to have been created around 25,020 BBY, five years after the Jedi Order was founded.
KANAN JARRUS 🥹 AHHH IT LOOKS JUST LIKE HIS LIGHTSABER 🥹🥹
This is why Hyuang was my favorite character from The Clone Wars cartoon.
And thus Ezra learned an important lesson: there is always time to learn.
Who watched this feeling like they just stepped into the lightsaber forge in Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge.
Looks like hasbro and other lightsaber companies are gonna have their hands full with Ezra’s third lightsaber!

To answer Ezra's question, Huyang is over 25,000 years old. He helped invent the lightsaber. Basically, as the first Jedi walked out of the first Jedi Temple the first thing they did was find a large blue box on the steps outside, open it, and activate Huyang.
And their alternate name for him at the time was “The Doctor”

So it looks like Ezra rebuilt a replica of Kanan Jarrus's lightsaber and since Kanan Jarrus's lightsaber was destroyed when the imperial dome is exploded and it looks like Ezra rebuilt Kanan Jarrus's lightsaber to honor his memory since Kanan Jarrus Did sacrifice his own life to save Ezra and Sabine and Hera from the explosion at the cost of his own life
We need a closer look on that Lightsaber hilt.

It's great that Ezra constructed a new lightsaber, and awesome that it pretty much matches what Kanan had before. Though I'm wondering if there are Kyber crystals on Peridia. How and where did Ezra get a new Kyber Crystal?
Its shown that Ashoka has a collection of lightsabers on her ship. I'm guessing he just took a crystal out of one for his own use

I love building Lightsabers it is my favorite hobby in star wars. If anyone in our real world wants to be a jedi, you need to show your friends and family how capable to pretend you have the force. Plus during your training and your missions, if you lose a lightsaber or if it gets destroyed you either buy or build another. Plus it's like Master Obi-Wan Kenobi said to Anakin Skywalker during Episode 2 Attack of the Clones "This weapon is your life". Also when i was a child i have some natural talent wielding a lightsaber. Both single and dual wield. Double Bladed like the Jedi Temple Guards, not so much.

He didn't as his second lightsaber now Sabine's is green. My guess after Ashoka left The World between Worlds in Rebels her portal took her to Malachor where she found Erza's Kyber Crystal from his first Lightsaber and kept it until they were reunited.

Yeah, that's gonna be a question for the writers, only logical answer is that Huyang had some leftover crystals lying around, still dumb.

As much as I like the blue crystal, I feel like a Yellow one would’ve been a lot more fitting for Ezra especially at this age in his life.

I feel like it should have been green more than ever, since Ezra is more focused on his mastery of the force than his mastery with a saber. Like he said “the force is his ally”.

It would have made much more sense if the blade was yellow. It reflects better who Ezra is now and how strong he is with the Force now
Considering Jedi Sentinels were the Rogues to Guardian's Fighter and Consular's Wizard, it fits.
