I like all the narcissus, especially the avalanche, and Charming lady and the Actaea that James below had commented on. The narcissus that does well here in Cyprus are Lilly Whites, with all the heat during summer they come up every year and multiply too, I do water the ground where they are every evening. I have a couple of yellow ones that survive and come up every year in a plant pot on my doorstep they shoot above the Geranium and the succulent. I will take a photo of them and send it to you next time they appear, I know you will shed light on what they really are.
Beautiful video Sarah your bench full of the Herald of Spring and lovely Bird song in the back ground. I love the simplicity of Actaea with its searing red center. Thank you
This is such a great video! I think it's so interesting how much flower taste is actually cultural. You keep talking about some being too gaudy, but I think that tends to be a British opinion. In America, everyone wants the bigger, more showy kind and refer to singles or traditional ones as boring.
Avalanche is a must-have. Earlicheer, Rip van Winkle. Narcissus geranium, Actaea, Charming Lady. Cut flower Powder Puff 'My Story'.

I agree 100% with all the others who like the Actaea. There's just enough uniqueness to it without it being overly flashy. Loved this!

Thank you for the gorgeous selections! I’m adding more every year. Are there any varieties that the insects enjoy?
