Hey there! I literally just startes getting into cardistry a few days ago, so far only been working on riffle shuffling/bridging. Dicovering these finger exercises before I start trying any actual tricks has been a real blessing. Just one question: how long do you reccomend doing any of these exercises per session? Just doing them in time with your video has made them feel a lot looser than they have in forever, but if you reccomend doing each of them for two or five minutes that would be good to know!

My current exercise is holding a backpalm with higher and higher numbers of cards for longer and longer. I find my fingers' side strength is super-weak, and this exercise really brings it out but gives real easy metrics for improvement (number of cards and seconds)

Thanks a bunch for these. All were new to me except the fist extension one. This is going straight into my "card magic tools" playlist. I just started cardistry/ magic a few months ago and these will come in handy. Now I have like ten exercises! Thanks again

As a martial artist hand strength can be important for controlling your opponent. I have some stuff called POWER PUTTY. Different densities are sold with green being the hardest. Like silly putty on steriods. It comes in a gray plastic
case shaped like a fist. Most hand exercises focus only on abduction (closing/contracting the muscle) and not on adduction (opening/extending the muscle). Both are necessary. I would google it and hopefully you can order it off the internet. It comes with an "exercise program" booklet. Hope this helps.

Hmmm...mate, no matte how hard you try, if the middle finger is flat,it is difficult to raise ring finger.
Because of their neural connection. It does not work the other way round, but if you hold down the middle finger, you won't be able to move the ring finger without moving the middle too, even just a little bit.
