I'm a 31 year old, 10 year army vet. Don't understand but a word or two of Japanese. This song/video made me bawl like a baby the first 4 times I listened to it.
@@jimmysrandom since I'm here first I'll give you the scoop. The drummer Tamu had just had her baby, and this online concert was her first performance back. The other members of the band didn't actually know if she'd be returning, with the new baby and covid running rampant. This was the last song of the set, and before they started the song each member thanked Tamu for returning and expressed how much they had missed her. All the members then faced Tamu and dedicated and played the song to Tamu. Which is why she's a blobbering mess by the end. And she doesn't miss a single beat 🤘
The video is taken from the first live where Murata Tamu is back from her maternity hiatus. Everyone said a few words about her coming back then they dedicated Life to her and her kid. That's why they are all facing Tamu and are teary eyed. This song had been around for a while then. That's what they said about this clip. Good choice, this song is a tear jerker. Peace
This song is moving and emotional when you hear it the first time. When you also read the lyrics, it gets deeper. When you realise what's happening here (i see you have explanations already), it gets very moving indeed. Tamu's tears of happiness and everyone's words to her make me tear up. Beautiful.
Great song. On their DVD "Revive: It's soooo nice to finally meet you," Mayu, who has obviously sung this song dozens of times, cannot get through the song without crying. It's so heartwarming. I love it when bands feel their own songs so strongly.
It was also Hazuki's birthday therefore the cake as a gift for her that was presented by Saki. P.S. By the way, the Japanese love strawberry cake. Because of the colors red and white like their national flag and because all the ingredients used to be rare and expensive.
Wow !..My comment got deleted ??.. Anyway Theyre more than a band, theyre a Family.. It was also Hazukis Bday..and they have a new video out. Foo Fighters cover of "walk".. youll enjoy it also

Gonna have to bring your wife in to hear this one, even if you've already heard it. I've heard it 100 times and still love it.
I bet she will, I want her to hear this one for sure! Not sure if you could tell that I was fighting not to choke up.
@@jimmysrandom Hey I got a bit teary eyed the first dozen times I watched it as well. Good stuff.
@@robertbassham8514 It's just so dang good.
spot on, Mayu is facing Tamu, as they all, as if they are playing and singing only for her...awesome song
