⁠@@SONNetworksI know some will grill me for this but Moise should’ve been fourth. As good and intelligent as he is in music, he doesn’t really compose his own original songs anymore compared to his first 2 albums and he doesn’t really sing them songs anymore. Some of his recent songs are literally a reprise of Maverick City, Hillsong, Tasha Cobbs etc. Whereas with Maman L’or her music is very unique and the South African spice mixed with Congolese music is what suits her best and makes her the L’or Mbongo she is till today even when she releases new tracks she stays in her own style no left or right. I feel like Moise is just trying to copy other people’s music rather than just being himself. Maman L’or deserves better
Btw I there are Moise Mbiye songs that are sung in churches like Na tiela yo motema, Bilaka, Oza Mosantu, Ta presence, Eben Ezer etc
