Hello, I am Angel Shrestha and I currently visited Tsum valley at the time of inaguration of the Tsum Monastry. I am an Architecture student currently on my last year doing my thesis. For the thesis I wish to purpose a small scaled yak farm in Lamagaon with cheese and wool production highlighting the importance of yak and culture of the area. My thesis project aims for reviving the unique and one of a kind culture of this beautiful place and providing alternative ways of income making it a major tourist attraction.
For my thesis, I need information regarding the site, culture , tradition and mostly people and their yaks of the area. I had plans to revisit Tsum valley for my thesis but due to the lockdown it isn't possible. Therefore I need to find and research on it virtually and I was hoping if you could help me to provide an insight to your place.
