But you must remember to use a USB charger with a built-in current or thermal limit. Without such protection, it may happen that the current consumed by the system will be higher than the nominal one and the charger will overheat. Your system draws the maximum possible current from the charger.

No. 3 on my list is a 12V Battery Charger. It's great for my e-bike, but it's hard to know when the battery is fully charged without the green LED. I wish chargers had a buzzer. This circuit proves it can be done. Well done! 😀

It is limited by the input source. A maximum of 2 ampere power supply is recommended in project number 2. You can use 3 amps for two batteries in parallel and 4 amps for 3 batteries in parallel.

There is no short circuit protection, so if the input is fed with excessive current, the transistor will burn out.
