Thank you for the video, this has been very helpful. I'm seriously thinking about getting into the compliance - investigating space for Banks/Credit Unions. Hoping to find an entry level/mid range position since I have 20+ years in Mortgage Operations.
Your operations knowledge will be very valuable when you move into compliance. Understanding how the business works is a key component of managing risk.
So sorry for missing your comment until now. I would recommend you explore AML Compliance as this is aligned with your experience and you likely have great transferable skills for this area. Do some research on AML Compliance, there are a number of courses you can also explore. All the best with your entry into compliance.
@@CompliancewithKudzai okay I think its data privacy after watching your video. Maybe you can also talk about compliance within healthcare industry, would like to learn more about compliance in that industry.
Hi. Is there a lot of talking with clients over the phone? I'm thinking of getting into Fin crime and compliance but i am introverted + social anxiety. I'm debating if this is a feasible career for me.
Compliance is not client facing. We are a business support function. We do have to engage a lot with our stakeholders e.g. sales, client services team, management etc who will then interact with clientd. So you will have to talk to people internally but not externally.
I am a srilankan who has 9 years working experience in FCC (HSBC and in another bank). So what should I learn in Australia to join with a FCC job? Any MBA or something like that as an international student?

I don't know what the requirements are for a compliance career in Australia but I'm pretty sure am MBA wouldn't be a prerequisite.
