She seems to be a very decent lady with a good heart but in that sentence there's kind of a "mistake".
Even if there was only 1 lego brick in the world it would probably not be beautiful to most of us. On the other hand there are over 1 million trees, flowers,a beautiful brand of a car or whatever and most of us will still think it's beautiful.

@@vhlp4534 you know what? You actually just made me think about this for a long time and i've come to the conclusion that i dont't really agree with that statement. Might be just me but for example i don't find "expensive" cars particularly pretty, i mean yes they might be cool to look at or fun to drive, but i'm not at all interested in them and when i see a fancy car driving by i coulnd't care less how it looks. Same with certain flowers. For example sunflowers, which mostly look the same, i don't find them particularly beautiful but wild rare flowers with different kinds of leaves and stuff i find really pretty and interesting. Long story short, i feel like uniqueness makes for a more beautiful visual :)

    • @vhlp4534

      @@bea_hani @bea I might be wrong.
I as well don't care about expensive cars but I still think most of them are designed beautifully. I think it's the negative side effects that an expensive car brings with it, e.g. arrogant people, posers...that probably makes you not caring about those cars. About those sunflowers, would you like them if there were only very few of them in the world and those rare plants wouldn't they be beautiful anymore if there were more of them?

Usually it’s when you stop looking, someone special appears out of nowhere. Until then, make yourself visible and while doing the things you love most keep an open mind about the people around you as they often make compatible partners in life since they like the things you do. Hope your someone special shows up soon but if not realize that being single isn’t a curse either. I’m 66 and have never married but had 33 years with my best friend ever until their passing. Find yourself a ‘best’ friend and you are hot on the trail of a forever friend.

My dog also passed away in my arms. We planned on having him put down that night at the vet because he became very sick and his body didn't function right anymore. In the morning we took him out to his favorite sunny spot in the yard and pet him while he was resting, next thing I know he takes his final breath in my arms. I think that made me grieve less in some odd way, I just knew he was at peace while he passed by my side.

There was a boy in school who wanted to be my friend because no one else was nice to him. His home life and hygiene were bad, but he developed a beautiful soul despite all his hardship. He joined band in highschool and found some acceptance, but even among us band geeks he still had a hard time. No girlfriends, until I met him a few years later and he was ENGAGED! I was happy for him and he wanted to get my phone number. I politely declined due to my jealous boyfriend. I should have told him how inspirational he was to me.
A few weeks later I found out his engagement fell through then he offed himself with a shotgun. Had he had my admiration or even just my phone number, maybe he would've alive and well. I'm so sorry Matt!
My boyfriend was strangely callous about Matt. He proposed to me about a month later. I said NO, but continued to date. He was afraid of losing me and decided to do something about it. He drugged me, ripped off my birth control patch, and raped me for 3 days. When I came to, I was knocking on deaths door. I begged his mother for help, so she took me home. I had recently been in kidney failure due to dehydration at the Citadel and lost my full scholarship so I was living with my parents. They didn't take me to the hospital either. 3 more days passed without food or water. It's amazing I'm alive to tell my story.
I broke it off with the boy"friend" and he ended up with a new girlfriend VERY shortly after. He called me 4 months later wanting me to talk to his fiance. She was having doubts and he wanted a CHARACTER REFERENCE. I could have made her run for the hills by telling ALL, but I was very careful. I told her to trust her instincts and that I wish I had.
This is when I realized Matt could have saved my life with his death. Thank you Matt!
Then a month or so later I got a call from my ex's mom saying he died in his sleep. She said" it was an accidental overdose off pills and alcohol. His fiance had broken it off and he was just letting off steam."
I can't help but wonder how he died the very way he almost killed me. Was it suicide, justice or both?

When she got back to the positive , and her expression went back to Joy and peace, it reminded me to smile more because you never know what somebody's going through on the inside. 🙂

I love the last guy. Suicide isn't selfish, I think it's even more selfish and disrespectful to say suicide is selfish. But I do understand the pain that comes from mourning someone that took their own life. Nearly 4 years ago a young girl from my town took her own life due to bullying, then a year later so did one of my friends from the same town. They were both struggling with their own lives, that that's what it came to. The young girl was just 16. My friend was 18. We all deal with stuff differently. Let us deal with life how we need to.

    • @LaserrSharp

Whether it’s selfish or not is a philosophical discussion. Some people believe it’s selfish and that’s their opinion.

    • @iija5238
      @iija5238 4 ปีที่แล้ว +65

I understand what people mean when they say so, when I committed suicide I didn't think about anything or anyone but ending my own suffering. I just wanted the pain to go away, I had reached a point where I just didn't care anymore about anything, who I would hurt or what would happen in the world after me. It was extremely selfish to think that way, but I know that my brain chemistry just was so fd up that it seemed like the only option to me to get out of that situation. I had and still have an illness that caused that state of mind.
Shaming suicidal people is not going to help anybody but I understand why it seem selfish and where the people who say things like that are coming from.

pakoonkanssasi there’s a book called Beyond Happiness by Ezra Bayda that I highly recommend. Beyond that, getting lots of sunlight, fresh air, good sleep, and exercise helped me get out of depression. Now I’m able to see life much differently and I feel better, physically. I’m starting now to get into nutrition. I understand the body is a type of machine that needs certain things to work well. If we deprive it of those things, then it won’t function properly. Best of luck and glad you are still here.

    • @anz10
      @anz10 4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

Suicide is definitely not selfish the person would be in such incredible pain that they see that as the only way out, someone can't be kept alive for others. They may try to stay alive for others but they cant keep it up indefinitely. Maybe its selfish of others to want someone to go on in their suffering just so they dont suffer. Of course its best if the person tries to fix their problems first or tries to fix themselves first, but none can say when enough pain or enough trying is enough.

This whole video had me crying right from the start.
I had always felt like I was the cause of everyone's death and I get so scared thinking of who might die next because of me. I have never told anyone I feel this way all the time yet and I know I'm only 15 but I've been so scared of people leaving me and I cry all the time. So far in my life 18 people have passed away that were close to me including my childhood friend, grandpa, uncles, and close "family-friends". I have gone to many funerals and I've gone to the cemetery many times starting at such a young age. Even when I was born my mother told me that while she was about to give birth to me a lady in the next room over baby had died. This always made me sad and I always thought that maybe that baby could've had a chance if it weren't for me. A few months ago my mom and dad had gotten in a car accident just a few days before my birthday. My dad is fine but my mom is still recovering from her back and mentally but in that same week of my birthday my grandpa died and ever since then my dad hasn't been the same as he still hasn't gotten over his dad's (my grandpa's) death. And this month 2 more people died (my moms friend and her coworker).
Because of all this happening in my life, my mind seems to overreact when let's say (example) "my mom is going to get groceries and she'll be back in about an hour". My mind (without me even wanting to) starts to think "wait its almost 2 hours, oh no did she get in an accident or did someone kidnap her or did she lose her way and end up somewhere else or something's worse. Because of this I call my parents every day when they go to work at the same time for as long as they can talk.
I don't want to tell my parents or anyone else about this because I feel like they'll think I'm overreacting or a crybaby.
Idk If this is an illness or something mental or a disorder but if anyone can tell me please do so!

That guy who spoke about his first dog, resonated with me. Mine also died due to car accident at age 8, he got out of our house and went to the main road then a speeding car hit him, the driver did not even bother to come down from the car and help my dog.
It was too late when my neighbors found my dog, he's gone. Too sudden.
The family and our neighbors immediately held a funeral, he was a beloved dog and they all decided to bury him beside the chapel.
I felt bad because I just went back to college from christmas break and then that happened. Felt like God gave us those 3 weeks to spend together before He called him back to heaven.
I miss him and he's still my password to several accounts 11 years later. Will never forget you, D. 💗

But like, i teared up when the guy was talking about his dog, and how his dog died in his arms. I have gone through the same thing, exept that I didnt get a chance to say goodbye. His name was Joey, he was only 2 beautiful months old. I love him so so dearly, but when I was at hockey practice my dad drove over him. I was broken when I heard that my baby was ggone (please note I was 10 years old at the time) and I went into some depression. The very next week my mom came home with a precious 12 week old rescue Jack/lab mix. I called him Jayden, he didnt replace Joey but he sure did heal me a whole lot. Jay is laying next to me on my bed right now, and I pray to dear God that he will never get hurt. My best friend honestly. So I felt for the guy, truly.

3:42 - Oh, my heart.. that hits home 💔😭🐾 Few years ago on my 21st birthday I had been living with my stepmom at her house in a rural countryside like area right off the highway celebrating with some friends. It was around 9/10 at night, my stepmom let my 15lb white little mix dog I rescued from the pound a few years prior and her 2 Chihuahuas outside to potty. Because mine was a rescue, he's needed a lot of rehabilitation and training because he was very fearful of everything and tended to be really skiddish of things, it was his biggest obstacle we were overcoming so I was always with him when outside ESPECIALLY at night, but when she lets her own dogs out she just opens he door, let's them out, and they come back, this is their home and all they've known, but me and my dog had only been moved in a few months, he wasn't used to this area and routine. Because I was celebrating with my friends she was kind enough to let him out to potty for me and I appreciate her for that- but she forgot to stay outside with him... When she opened the door about 10m-15m later to let them back in, her dogs were back, but mine.. was not....
I never found him on the highway. There were no signs of coyotes but a big possibility. To this day I don't know what happened to him. I had flyers everywhere, he is/was microchipped and I payed for boosting awareness in his chip incase someone picked him up. I didn't get to raise him but I did get to rescue him and we did so much together. We went kayaking, we went across country on a road trip, we went to the top of a mountain together, he brought me out of my shell as much as I brought him out of his. He was more than my dog, he was my best friend. I have no idea what happened to him and it breaks my heart to this day. For all I know he could still be out there, he'd be approximately 6-7 by now, or maybe he's gone. I have no closure and it pains me greatly... Scoobs, I miss you. I'm still trying to find you and waiting for your return. 💔

I thank the man at the end of the video. I was in my Algebra class one day and a my class got onto the topic of suicide. I don’t remember how but I do remember my teacher saying that it was selfish in a sort of angry tone. I personally don’t believe that it’s selfish but that wasn’t the thing that made me annoyed to hear. It was the fact that she said that in a room with those that have contemplated the decision which would be a finality. I thought that even if it is selfish, would she say that to someone who she knew was suicidal? She was talking to the whole class but her words affected me indirectly. I don’t need to be shamed. I need to be helped and that would certainly not help me to hear that I am also selfish added onto the things that I already hate about me. I understand that she wants to help, but saying that to a person that wants to take their own life will just give them another reason to. Please don’t ever say an individual is selfish because of the immense pain that they are in. Hear their cries, feel their shakes and shivers, listen to their words because that is better than saying I am selfish.

I was scrolling down the comments section to read something special about that guy at the end and I found yours. I know suicide is a real issue for so many people under the sun and I really hope you overcome this desire to take your life.
Contemplated suicide as a finality is a hard one, it means that you reached a dark place where you think life is not worth to be lived anymore.
My advice to you is : be careful because the suicidal waves of thoughts are never too far and will once again try to sink you. Keep your head out of the water, and seek Christ Jesus who helped so many people in this state of despairs and depression and never forget, suicide is not the solution of your problems.
If you do not mind, let me share these songs with you they are just uplifting the soul, and they are bringing hope and light over the darkness that keep the heart in deep, deep sadness.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing these with me/us c: and I hope you can keep sharing because it really can help others especially to know that they're not the only person going through things. I just recently discovered your videos and I'm not sure that I'll be able to fully catch up on them all but I do really appreciate seeing them and knowing that I'm not alone and that others have it worse yet still remain strong c: I survived many things but by far the worst was when I became suicidal in 2013 and I fought hard to not follow through with the thoughts and urges because I wanted to see my daughters grow up and to see who they become and that want was far stronger then the urges I was having :) and even through that,I was not ashamed to seek help or make requests to ensure safety of others, not only myself and I'm very proud of myself for seeking help and I'll never be ashamed of any of my mental ailments or of knowing that I'll always need medication (:

That dog story hit me hard. My first dog died from getting hit by a car when I was young, too, only I wasn't there to see it. I was told about it when I got home. My family dog that I grew up with, though, had to be put down last summer due to seizures. Although we'd had to have a couple of family dogs put down before due to various health reasons, this was the first time I held one in my arms while she was being put to sleep. It still makes me cry to think about it. I miss her, especially when I visit my parents and she's not there to sleep at the foot of my bed at night like she used to. My parents have another dog now and she's sweet (and derpy), but I've never felt as close to her as I did my old dog Bitsy who I grew up with.
