Hey Bex! My induction plate has variable power switch. Lower wattage May not be as fast but will pull less electric. My fav Ramen: 2-3 cups chicken broth 1/2 onion sliced 1 stalk of celery 2-3 tablespoons dried parsley Red pepper flakes Cook 5 minutes then add 1 package dried noodles Cook until tender Add a handful of cooked leftover meat Enjoy!
Yes, I can adjust the power but since I was just boiling water and wanted to test the max power draw on the station, I left it on high. Was really happy with how it worked out. Ohhhh, that ramen recipe sounds super tasty. Love celery and never thought of putting it in ramen. I'm definitely going to try this. :-)
I don’t know if you are peddling ramen noodles, a portable cooker or a screen play for film noir but I watch because you’re hilarious in the best possible way! I love your wonderful wit. Thank you for sharing your sunshine.
Well check to see if you missed any videos because YT has not been recommending my videos for some reason and lots of people have commented on it. I guess the new YT algorithms hate me. :-D
My life has just been turned upside down, and our plan of going nomadic in 2 years has changed to me figuring it out on my own.. I am thinking a unit like this would be wonderful for a simple cargo trailer/van build
I enjoy your humor! I’ve been thinking about purchasing one of those portable power stations, I’m not nomadic but want it for emergent type usage, storms, outages etc! Thanks for review! 😃🇺🇸
Funny I just bought the bluetti ac200p similiar to yours really liking it charges great with my 390 watt solar panel so far. Just 1 issue the outlets go dead periodically I'll contact them soon might be a power saver thing. Crazy your so close I'm near sonata too been here 22 years up in Avery beautiful thanks for all you do!
This VLOG cracked me up!😂 I have no idea how I miss this 4 months ago! So much humor starting with the decorations!! I'd love to spend an evening around the campfire just shooting the breeze with you. What a hoot. I'm sure I'm not alone. You are so down to earth. It's actually quite refreshing. Bex, keep them videos coming!!❤
Great review Bex-I love your decorations & your humor. I have eatten a lot of ramen but never thought to add egg👍 Hope you have a great Independence Day 🙏✌🌎💞
Great review. I may get one for my condo. I love watching you prepare a meal. It makes me want to venture beyond my usual bland menu. Thanks for the entertainment.
Fun and informative review of a versatile product; thanks for sharing. As you demonstrated, the 2000 Watt inverter will power an induction cooker whereas the smaller 600 Watt inverter would not. I bought an induction cooker and find I use it daily. It is economical and easy to clean. The 2 kWh battery is heavy but will store energy for cloudy days. Odd that the solar input is limited to 500 Watts, much less than the mains a/c 1100 Watts charging. That would be disappointing for a house UPS but for frugal RV living with few appliances, 300 Watts might be sufficient in the South West. In the PNW where solar power is limited by the weather, more solar or a small genset would be needed. ☮️ With so many DC and AC power sockets, this UPS would be a good choice as a single source of power instead of multiple charging devices. Expensive to buy but a versatile product.
Well, with a small 2000 watt Genset, you could charge this back to full in a couple of hours and that would save gas. I'm really looking forward to cooking on the induction cooktop. It will cook much faster too. :-)
another great video!! All this talk of amps/wattage/power paks and such is over my head and part of the reason I don't go to full time. Food looks good! Stay safe out there Bex!
We cook on induction cooktop 80% of the time. We run it on lower power and get good results with a bit more time. That’s one of the faster charging power stations out there. 2000 watt hours is a great size. Lifepo4 with 3500 cycles is very good.
I think the induction cooktop is going to be a game changer in the future. I think they fudged the 3500 cycles a little because most companies rate theirs down to 80% but this one is rated down to 70%. So a little different metrics, but still an excellent battery.
Yes, it's especially bad in the desert because there's nothing to stop the wind at ground level. At least in the forest the trees block the worst of it. :-)
That's definitely an important metric when comparing these power stations. I recommended their smaller 600wh unit to a friend because it was such a good deal. :-)
Dear Bex, I saw a show about wheel Bearings being greased on a Casita on another show and I wanted to remind you about that. I didn’t see any video about that on the channel. 😘😻
Hi Deb. Yes, I try to replace the bearings when I put new tires on but didn't get to it on the most recent one. So thanks for the reminder. I'll do that on my way down the mountain. :-)
Wow congratulations, the power in that solar generator is amazing. I am so happy someone made a mistake and you got something fantastic. Great review I love it . Now stay safe and take care. Hugs from your Aussie nomad friends ❤️🤗😊
Bex I love your videos...happy they screwed up and sent you that monster power station wow good for you and good job on promoting it definitely interested Hope you’re enjoying the weekend ( Kev c )
Bex, I've seen several reviews of these only producing 1.5kWh of capacity. Kind of a shame for them to over rate this unit because it seems like a good one. Now I just can't get over how this company trying to pull one over on us.
I approved your comment with the link and I'm not sure where it disappeared to?! But thanks for the link and info. I'm curious how the other 2000wh power stations stack up on that metric?
SCORE! Wowee, 2000 watt hours! Nice to see a mistake to your advantage 👍 I got two 500 watt hour Awanfi units for $500. They're both compatible with my 100 watt Renogy panels. What a difference they've made in my life. Next chance you get, checkout fish flakes in the Asian Market. They're dried and come in individual packages. If you like that type of flavor, it makes an amazing broth for ramen 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Hi Bex. I eat a lot of Noodles. Buy them in the dehydrated form. Crunch them up before adding water. Personally I cannot stand them dribbling down my chin. I add chilli flakes and an Oxo cube. Ideal one pan meal when camping. I dont bother with a bowl just eat from Pan. Love the product review. Just too big, heavy for my outdoor activities. 12Vdc at 100w would suit me. Cheers from old George 🤠👍
🤹🏻♀️ Bex you’re gonna luv the versatility of cooking methods with the portable induction burner. I’ve had one for several years basically using as my main source because of the variable temperature controls. It can be used as a crockpot (low, medium, high), a deep fryer method, boils water ever so quickly,🍿popper, etc. Although it requires magnetized pots/pans one can get decent prices when shopping around at outlet stores, online and even Walmart. I keep a little 🧲 in my handbag to check bottom of pots when in store in case lack of packaging or doesn’t list induction ready.
Someone in the warehouse is in trouble...I doubt they wanted to pay shipping to get it back. Now you might as well buy a cheap microwave at walmart. lol Glad to see a new video so soon.
Well, it depends. Where I'm at it's pretty nice but lower elevations are much hotter. The Sierra is my happy place and I feel lucky to spend time here. :-)
Does cooking time on the induction plate vary on how long things take to cook at a higher altitude? Always enjoy your videos. You find the prettiest places to camp.
I actually feel much safer up in the mountains away from people than I do in the city. The most dangerous thing I could encounter is another human. LOL
I only get the Dark Blend version and it's super good. It's odd that I really like this but am not a Coke drinker. Also, it has half the calories at only 70 a can.
🐈 Luv your bits of humor Bex. Do you know if the unit is pure sine wave so as not to damage anything plugged in? Can one be charging the unit while in use as I can’t find this info on Amazon? Is it compatible for use with any brand of solar panels? 🔌
Yes, the AC outlet is a pure sine wave. Yes, it also has pass through charging so you can use it and charge simultaneously. You can also use any solar panels but the input is restricted to 500 watts/48 volts/15 amps. So you can configure a solar system within those parameters. The easiest would be to have two 200 watt panels connected in series. :-)

Very cool, (and almighty), power station.;) - The lighting was fine, hehe.

It my be heavy but...you are very lucky to have that power source. Keep on cooking!
Thanks, Barb. Looking forward to using it more. :-)
You can cook for me any day Bex. That looked amazing. Cheers 🥂
I would say you got the better end of this deal!
Great video! Stay safe.
when these are charged slowly it is better for the internal batteries. Also the unit lasts longer. what type of battery?
Excellent review BC-h, thanks for sharing. You learn fast, I also compare all of these power sources by pennies per wHr.
That's definitely an important metric when comparing these power stations. I recommended their smaller 600wh unit to a friend because it was such a good deal. :-)
