Memories, I had this exact model, same colour (black and silver) 1.5 dci. From memory it ate up brakes constantly. Clutch was a fortune (at 110,000 mls) Turbo part issue (can’t remember what part is called) Front headlight bulbs are a nightmare to change. Apart from that it was a brilliant car, had it for 4 years, bit dated looking now, I’d have another as my 2nd car, but would need to be the petrol one.
This has aged better than the facelift. Also, I wonder why they changed the mechanism - this one hinges the deck behind the rear headrests while the facelift has a single piece fold out from under the rear deck.
Nice one, of course Volkswagen Eos is a better vehicle, seems faster, bigger in back seats space, and in the tug, but also so much expensive, so Renault Megane Cabrio is a more available choice for a more comun person (who wins basic salarie)
