Seinfeld compilations only really work if you have seen the episodes. The episodes and jokes are so intricate(?) that you can't really boil them down to best-of compilations.
Its like watching a few random scattered minutes of Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey and then trying to guess what happens in the rest of the movie. Dumbazzes.
lol 😂I remember the first time I really watched Seinfeld. I was in High School, studying for exams. I had the tv on, kinda for background noise and my cousin was visiting. I remember he asked me what am I doing, saw me with my books and notes. And just then, it was the episode where his car got stolen, where he called his car phone. I just remember my cousin asking “What in the world is this show? This is funny!” We were laughing so hard, I couldn’t study during the show bc we were just laughing so much. And that’s when I became a big Seinfeld fan. ❤😂
I love the scenes where one of the characters calls another in a huge panic about something, and on the other end (usually Jerry) taunts them with a reply like, "Uncle LEO...?" or "Who IS this...?" (Elaine did the latter to Jerry once), and the caller gets mad and beats the phone receiver as if beating the idiot on the other end, lol.
the roomate swap is amazing. the payoff is so good.. it ends up backfiring in the one way they didnt expect.. the girlfriend ends up being into the 3some and jerry doesnt have the nuts to do it.
Whats so great about Seinfeld the series just kept getting better season after season. Thats just so incredible and when they stopped they still were the number 1 show on TV! Crazy Great Series throw a dart at any episode they are all great!
That menage-a-trois trick actually came up twice. There was The Switch (and yes, it did not work out as planned/anticipated). Then the time George calls back to it (some time after The Switch), to get out of a relationship he cannot seem to sever by any means or cannot decide how to do it, so George recalls his great "threesome" plan and gives it a go, but it backfires on him too, similarly as it did for Jerry.
SPOILER on the "Switch" plot : When Jerry proposes the threesome, the girl is actually enticed and VERY into it. Jerry reports back to George, and nearly chokes on his food. Flabbergasted, but thrilled, George is going on and on about how much better it worked out than planned! It is completely unprecedented, and saying things like "You should be on your knees thanking the Lord for having access to my genius!" But Jerry says "I'm not doing it!!" to which George is appalled at what he considers to be Jerry squandering a golden opportunity. But Jerry argues "I can't be an orgy guy! I'd have to get orgy guy clothes, find orgy friends, it's just too much!" Episodes later, in the threesome reprisal, he was dating a woman who was an ex-con. I'm not sure what the problem was, if it was cos she had a male roommate, or, that he looked too much like George and it made him uneasy, or the fact he only dated the woman upon meeting her in prison (he was a visitor and she was serving time, working in the prison library), thinking it was the perfect arrangement ; as long as she is locked up, he has total control over the relationship - when to see her (or not), his freedom is not hampered, etc - but then she got out on parole, so now he had to figure out how to break it off without pissing her off (I do not recall if they said why she was in prison, but George did not want to risk upsetting an ex-con, lol). He figured the threesome thing would get him out of it, but it backfired : when George uses the proposition to get out of a relationship, she calls to her roommate and says, "Remember that thing we talked about? George is into it!" and the roommate smiles seductively at George and says "Reeeeallyyyy?" The episode ends with a slow-zoom close-up of George's terrified face. The other woman he could not shake was during the episode where George and Jerry were "outed" as a gay couple. What happened there was, George, Jerry, and Elaine were in the diner when Elaine noticed the woman in the next booth eavesdropping. So Elaine gets the big idea to give her "something to listen to", and while speaking intentionally louder, goes on this yarn about "So what if you two are gay? Why is that so awful? It's nobody's business!" And Jerry and George play along. Well, it backfired cos the woman was a reporter and used the gossip to publish an article on the subject of gays in NYC, naming Jerry and George specifically. At first, they guys are not too worried, thinking it's just a rinky-dink blurb that no one will even read.. but it got around - even all the way to Florida where Jerry's parents live. They call him and are appalled at "finding out this way". Jerry convinces them it was a gag gone wrong, and takes affirmative action to stop this from spreading further - he starts dating the reporter woman to persuade her to print a retraction. Meanwhile, George's mother reads the article and ends up in the hospital after fainting and sustaining injury. George visits her and she says "It's always something new with you! What are you doing with your life? Next thing will be I find out you're doing porno movies!" And George sarcastically replies, Yeah, my professional name is Buck Naked." All during the episode, George is trying to break up with this woman who, for whatever reason, refuses to accept the breakup. So George starts coming up with extreme tactics hoping to turn her off or scare her away. Nothing worked. He even tried to use the whole gay article, but even that did not discourage her cos she did not believe him. Desperate to prove it, he drags her to Jerry's apartment who, by this time, was making out with the reporter and on the verge of having her kill the article. George bursts in, sees them in an embrace, and leans right into it, "OH MY GOD! JERRY! I leave you alone for 2 minutes and I come home to THIS?? I thought we meant something to each other!!" Confused, Jerry asks what the hell he is doing, and George signals non-verbally to him, a reminder he is putting on an act, trying to use the gay thing to finally ditch his relationship, while still carrying on about the "betrayal". Both women are confused. Jerry gets the hint but is angry cos he is about to torpedo the whole "Operation Kill Article" effort, and tells him to get the hell outta here. The reporter concludes Jerry was only acting straight to make her retract the article, which she says will not happen now, and storms out - Jerry tries to convince her, "It's not true, IT'S NOT TRUE....!! Not that there's anything wrong with that!" (A recurring line in the episode, lol). He turns to George and says "Yaou STUPID IDIOT!!!"(I love that whole line, from "It's not true" to "stupid idiot", the way he says it, lol). George's gf finally demands to know what is going on, "Are you gay or not?" George confesses, "Okay, it's NOT true! We're NOT gay..." but pauses a moment, and recalls his visit with his mother, and gives one last-ditch effort to turn her off : "The truth is... I'm a porno actor and my name is Buck Naked!" And she responds with a very turned-on "REEEALLYYY???"
People who act like Seinfeld wasn't good are just poser snobs trying to be contrarians. It's objectively a great show that actually had some impacts on our society. It was that significant. This episode in particular, "yada yada yada" became a conversation element that still exists today.
As far as "the switch" and how it turns out, there's a third option that you haven't thought of. Since you're going to check it out anyways, I won't say anymore.
Why review an episode halfway through it. You don’t know the context. Kinda hard to watch you react to something that’s confusing you and not making sense. 😮
Guys, please. We like your content but stop it with the compilations. React to complete episodes instead. I follow other channels where they review full episodes. Of course, they can only post a 15 min summarized version of the episode here on TH-cam but it’s still great. This is just my two cents because the guy (I forget his name) can’t even get the jokes. She has to explain them to him because she’s more familiar with them. Thank you.
I don't get it. How can you react to 2 Seinfeld shows in 13 minutes? That's impossible. Wtf is the purpose of cherry picking a few minutes from an episode and then trying to guess what the episode is about? If you have to take time to explain it, you might as well watch the entire episode. This makes no sense. How lazy can you get? Either react to entire episodes or don't bother. This is asinine.
You guys need to do some full episodes! 😁😁
Seinfeld compilations only really work if you have seen the episodes. The episodes and jokes are so intricate(?) that you can't really boil them down to best-of compilations.
This.
That's non-fiction
The guy talking on the car phone is Larry David
You guys are hysterical. Keep up the good work.
The way those videos are cut is insane lol

It’s no good watching these without context
Dumbest thing I've ever seen on a reaction channel.

"Lets watch a few minutes of some sh!t and then guess what the rest was about."
"Great idea!"
Seinfeld is FANTASTIC! Thanks from Sweden. More of it! You should watch the whole series! Please?
We will
Turned out that not only was sandy into the idea but so was the roommate!! Show is the best
The Contest will have you in tears laughing .
I’m out!!!!!
Not if they only watch 2 minutes of it.
Seinfeld was the I love Lucy for the end of the 20th century. Sooo funny.
You gotta watch them from the beginning!
Hahaha, it's not a proper episode of TNT Reaction without Tasha's little sing-song intro ♫ TNTeeeeee ♫
WATCH that episode, lol.
It's PRICELESS.
These excerpts lack so much context and follow-up. Just watch the series.
Yepm can't watch bits, kinda pointless
ive seen every episode growing up lol. one if the best shows, another is (King of Queens)
It worked out !!! Jerry chickened out.
"The Switch" is top-tier Seinfeld. One of the best relationship-y episodes.
“She’s… into it.”😳
"Oh it's a scene, man."
“I’m not an orgy guy!” 😂
The BO episode 😂😂😂
Technically, the threeway request did work. Jerry just chickened out because he didn't think it would go that far lol
The girlfriend and the roommate were into the threeway! Jerry freaked out!
He can't. He's not an orgy guy!
spoiler...damn
You missed the point of the 3 way request you nimrod.
Jerry's not an "orgy guy"
6:45 "Tov cros tha veirs thej'd need tov exxpeis tha veirs. Hav dov thej dov that?"
I want to tell you how the switch turned out...but I won't. Definitely worth watching.
the roomate swap is amazing. the payoff is so good.. it ends up backfiring in the one way they didnt expect.. the girlfriend ends up being into the 3some and jerry doesnt have the nuts to do it.
Seinfeld was the absolute best at weaving multiple subplots into 23 minutes. Compilations don't really work well for this format.
Season 8 Episode 9. "The Abstinence". One of the better episodes in the later seasons. George becomes smart.
PLEASE react to the bloopers for this show - they're one of the best ;)
The voice of the guy who stole teh car is Larry David
Whats so great about Seinfeld the series just kept getting better season after season. Thats just so incredible and when they stopped they still were the number 1 show on TV! Crazy Great Series throw a dart at any episode they are all great!
Nothing ever really works on Seinfeld! Lol!
Thank you for pausing the video to do the explanation. I hate it when reacters talk over critical dialogue.
Larry David voiced the guy that stole the car

it worked they were both into the 3 way

This is like listening to 2 minutes of a 10 minute song and wondering how the rest of the song went. Dumbazzes.
Can you imagine kamala Harris or Donald Trump do the yard-a,yard-a,yard-a. On there campaign speeches. Seinfeld is awesome
She’s into it!
Sandy was into it…

Next, please do a review of the 4 hour epic movie Lawrence of Arabia, after watching only 3 or 4 scattered minutes. 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪
