I appreciate that she's kept this song alive. It should've been so much bigger on the charts. It's one of the best upbeat pop/adult contemporary songs from the early 90s, when that genre was unfortunately starting to fall out of fashion. I miss the early 90s so much the clothing styles had bright colors and the music they had back at the time was new jack swing and dance and pop and rap old skool rap and hip hop also the late 80s to early 90s decade was at its best back then

I agree, I am the same way. Here in this video she is gorgeous. She has a bit of substance to her arms and her face looks good. Now she is just too darn thin. But it was also her music that changed too. I liked everything she did up until Titanic. After that, she kind of went down with the ship. While I still like her, it is just that at that point, I didn't care for any new material she came out with. While her Vegas act is excellent and showcases her as a seasoned performer. I just don't care for the way she looks now. Where as here, in this video, she is breathtaking. This was always one of my favorite songs by her. But anything off the first two albums from her I like.

I still remember watching her perform this song as part of the CFL Grey Cup half-time show. (I forget which year). What I remember is that the stadium rocked while she sang. Pure magic.
I forgot all about this song until yesterday it randomly popped up in my head and here I am today listening to it.
I think this video was shot in Venice Beach in response to the L.A. riots shortly before. I remember seeing it in heavy airplay on VH1 in the early summer of 1992.
