I may politely suggest that this is NOT the fastest way to setup a Tarp. No need at all to waste time feeding the Ridgeline through your Bowline and the first fixing point. Just make a bite of the Ridgeline through your Bowline and place a stake in it and crank it down. This also works far faster when you need to take down your Tarp. As for the other end well. there are of course different knot/hitch options, but I'm happy with my Robert's Toggle which is also super fast to deploy and takedown.

Most things aren't absolute, but unfortunately, TH-cam video titles tend to be. Don't take the title too literally :). Of course there are potentially faster ways to setup a tarp, depending on your proficiency & knowledge of knots. What I like about the running bowline is its mindlessness: anyone on Earth can learn to tie it with their eyes closed after trying it once (assuming the bowline loop already exists). It requires little to no dexterity, so it's great for cold hands. Running the ridge line through it takes all but 5 seconds.
