I've been expecting it to get old for years but it hasn't yet! I can't get over how annoyed most scammers get at those two words - it's barely an insult, and yet...!
I've started using the small-boy gambit when fencing with what seems to be aggressive state-actor trolls on Quora. I had one such profile go dormant for a few weeks immediately after I asked if he was a small boy. When the profile started posting again, the operator had a somewhat different personality, so I was tempted to ask if he was now "a new boy."
I also do not really know anything about QIT-4 Quick Install Manual Trolley, 4000 Lb. Capacity Bit I can tell in German language it is called a *Laufkatze* , which translates to *running cat* - so it must a quick animal. Sure this will help you.

This guy even warned about it being suspect that the FBI was asking for money to buy some program, only to later so the same thing himself! Talk about flying too close to the Sun.
You do prove the sunk cost fallacy with these guys. There was no reason for the scammer to stay with you for nearly as long as they did. You do wind them up beautifully.
I think shrimp just perfectly simulates thier perfect mark. Being stupid and gullible. These guys are smelling money after the first few exchanges and are reluctant to let them go.

Almost got scammed yesterday by a police impersonator. Thanks to channels like yours, I feel far more capable of quickly discerning inconsistencies in the stories scammers use. Thank you for all you do to raise people's awareness and show all the angles scammers come at you from.
Good to hear! I have been vigilant enough that i havent fallen to any of these yet. I'll have to keep an eye on my aging parents, though. They are still quite sharp, luckily.
Today I nearly fell for a scam call, but halfway through remembered the red flags of urgency and weird payment methods and hang up the phone. They sounded very ligit and official otherwise. Bingewatching this channel probably helped me snap out of it and keep my money to myself!
Classic reason why right there, the people who are victims of scams are not stupid. Many scans are quite sophisticated. They can catch out even tech savvy people. I've known people in my industry (software) who have been scammed

I really like the new voice used for Monica and the scammers. Makes it easier to follow the conversation as well as adding a new layer to add a tad more character and humour to them too.
You really can never tell how long one of these scammers is going to stay on the hook. It seems like it should’ve been obvious very early on that you were messing with him, but he just kept coming back for more. 😂

Just last week, I received an actual, physical LETTER in the mail, ostensibly from a lawyer in Spain, indicating that I was in line to inherit 3.5 million dollars from someone with my last name, who had allegedly passed away. I'm a little surprised they would waste the postage, (it was posted from *FRANCE* ) but guess where it is now? Yup. Trash. Thanks for your educating us, Mr. Shrimp!! 👍
Man, after seeing so many of these scambaiting videos over the last couple of years i can instantly spot speech patterns and red flags. Like using "Am" instead of "Im", or ending sentences with OK, or obviously the grammar and spelling mistakes and being pushy or constantly giving orders
The "am" and "ok" thing is a dead giveaway that you're talking to someone from West Africa, most likely Lagos Nigeria. As well as other things like spelling other as "order" as that's how it's pronounced with that accent.

this morning i caught a phishing scam that was sent to my college email, impersonating someone from the staff and asking to "verify" my contact info and email + password. the advice i got from these videos helped me pick up on it, so thanks
