Another thing you can do with the pound cake... cut in half lengthwise. Spread middle with raspberry pie filling, cover the put together layers with home made whip cream and decorate with fresh raspberries. Slice and serve.
A few years back I bought the Aldi plastic pool. In my neighborhood we don’t have amenities so I put this pool on my deck for me to keep cool in the hot summer days we have around Atlanta! I am 67 and only 4’11” tall. I fit sitting in it perfectly, lol! I either sit in it or sit alongside it in a chair with only my feet in it!
I picked up 2 of the kiddie pools in green (no one else sells green) to use in my garden. Good for bucket plants, potted plants or as a raised garden. When on vacation put your potted plants in it and a bit of water.
Love your enthusiasm! Even when something isn't so great, you still find a way to put a positive spin on it. I saw several items, I hope to find at my local Aldi's.
You have no idea how much just watching your videos cheer me up. I’m fighting breast cancer again by myself bc I’ve been in an abusive 23 yr marriage n get no help. It seems every time I’m at my lowest points you have a new video for me to watch n it cheers me up. Thank you
The internalized feelings from a bad relationship causes so much pain to our detriment. I am so sorry you are dealing with so much. May you heal the emotional wounds so you can heal the physical ones 🙏🏼🕊
Large family BBQ’s in the backyard, I fill the kiddie pool with bags of ice and add a little water, it turns into a extra large cooler.. I add all the water bottles in one, and juice boxes and kids drinks in another. Easier for the kids to grab, go and run around. No one getting their tiny fingers slammed by a cooler cover

This is not on you at all, but I want to know if anyone else has issues with the wonderful things we not only see at Aldi but also at Dollar Tree not being at your particular store. I make a list for these two stores from what you tell us about, and honestly I have yet to find most of it at our stores. Now when you do Costco, I always find exactly what you are talking about, but just not at the other two. But it doesn't keep me from watching as you are so entertaining and always put a smile on my face (and I have hope that maybe this time they will have what I want). Thanks so much!
Since my town got an Aldi last year I've been obsessed and have found so many discounted items from $60 area rugs to $10 light up boots for my daughter. I just love your videos and will definitely be looking for some of the items mentioned when I visit Aldi this weekend. Thanks!
My granddaughter and I went to Aldi as soon as we finished watching the video. She loves those big candles and got two of them and also some of the frozen desserts. Thanks very much!!
The Aldi dessert cups always have a spot in our refrigerator--they are fantastic. May is German food month with many wonderful options to try. And our beagles love the frozen dog treats.
Great video! Our town is getting an Aldi this year! So excited!!! The nearest one to me is 40 minutes away. I’m forwarding the video to my relatives who have an Aldi in their city. Thank you for your hard work in finding these deals! And I thought it was so sweet you were buying the baby dishes for your fon! That’s a great price and they are beautiful!
Aldi is great for pantry and canned items eggs , butter and chips good prices i also recommend the bag of mini avacados you can use a whole avacado and not worry about unused half.
Matt, take slices of the pound cake, put them under the broiler and caramelize both sides. Have ice cream or strawberry slices ready to top the slices. ( or add both)🤣😜. It’s hit and miss on what we can find at our ALDI!
Just in case someone is interested in German pronunciation: 3:36 Donauwelle = DOE now vell luh translates to "Danube wave" Bienenstich = BEE nin schtich (that "ch" on the end is actually a guttural; pushing air out between back of tongue and soft palate) which translates to "bee sting"
II bought 2 of the string trimmers last year at $9.99 each on clearance. I bought the second because it was cheaper than buying a second battery. I use my Stihl gas trimmer as my main trimmer, but the battery Aldi trimmer works great in between. The blower also works great and the batteries are interchangeable with the trimmer.
Love your videos and how you give descriptions and prices. I also want to thank you for showing items and putting them back where you got them from. So many shoppers show items and just leave them wherever. This drives me crazy! And yes I have worked retail 😄
I went to two Aldi's in my area today. They didn't have hardly any of these items. I mainly went to the "cooler" and the drink stakes. At both stors I asked about them. They didn't know about them.
Thanks again Deal Guy. 👍🏻 I have to say Aldi’s food prices have been steadily increasing to the point where we don’t save much at all going there. Their non food items are the true buys.

I need to hustle to my local Aldi for 2 of those kiddie pools. I plan to use them to water my plants for me when I go on several vacations this summer. Glad I didn't have time to get them at Walmart yet where they are about $13 each.
