I had no idea the guy from Little River Band had his own show…..that’s incredibly cool in-and-of itself. It’s such a blessing that these old interviews are on YT. It allows the self-loathing, miserable, professional-victims today to see how actors conducted themselves back in the 70’s/80’s. No one was talking politics, or any other socio-political, bullsh!t. It was an incredibly happy time, when people conducted themselves, and treated others with respect.
Travolta in his prime. He finished the late 70's up with the following great shows all in a row: Kotter, Boy In The Plastic Bubble, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Blow Out, Urban Cowboy. All fantastic films & TV shows, Travolta amazing in all of them! And we're talking diverse roles! Travolta has always had BOTH style AND substance in his career and his work! He forged on through the 80's, 90's, & beyond with so many other memorable films & roles. Such a versatile actor, and as you see here in interview, so nice & so down to Earth!
John Travolta was sooo handsome. I love all of his movies.Saturday night fever,Grease,Moment by moment,Two of a kind and Urban Cowboy are a few of my favorites.love you John.
@@quentindugger5389 Exactly! You're absolutely right. BLOW OUT is one of my favorite movies. I think it's the best film with John Travolta. PULP FICTION is his second best film. BLOW OUT is also one of the three best De Palma films. Equally placed with DRESSED TO KILL and BODY DOUBLE.
I didn`t know that movie was so popular, I saw it years later on TV, but all I saw was the scene where`s she indicating that some of the beefy guys at a bar had small dicks.
John Travolta was in one of my visions like 10 years before he became the ambassodor for Web Jet or Qantus airways...and i remember thinking that this was weird ...and then he was the ambassador for Quantus airlines...like at the time I thought it was just a wack doodle strange dream...and then two years later he was the representative for the airlines❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh this was the year that he was rumoured to have stayed at Olivia's house (and Olivia's mom baked cakes for the 2 of them), hence being linked together as having a relationship
After watching so many interviews, I have come to the conclusion that John was in love with Olivia, even infatuated with her before she even met him. His charisma won her over- as he intended- they had a whirling romance and he most likely proposed to her and she said no. Not because she didn't love him, but because she was so much older than him. She was 29 at the filming of Grease and I'm thinking he was at least 9 years younger. Undoubtedly, that would of crushed him, and her- but, she knew that he wouldn't be infatuated for long and that he should be with a younger woman- just my thoughts......
@@shananoni yes it's obvious. In one interview they were asked were they ever madly in love. John says yes. Then he mentions unrequited love. I think she did fall in love with him but maybe not as deeply?
@@keepthefaith6171 no. sorry. I don't recall. When I was binging this I watched every single interview I could find and watched them several times- so, I don't remember exactly which it was. So much better than the current interviews I see today. Much more genuine. John's cool.
Yet Glens questions were annoying
He's the GOAT❤
John seems so shy here. I've always loved his interviews. He genuinely seems like a really nice guy!
I loved JT when he was in his 20's, and I still love him today. ❤
He's 30 in here

Love it. Back then they still dressed in suits for interviews. John is very handsome.

Love John Travolta!! 💚🤍💚
John so many talents like his dancing not to mention his looks urban cowboy was a great movie
Just wow! So fine!
The interviewer is Glenn Shorrock from Little River Band.
Thanks. I was about to ask who he was
John was and always will be gorgeous even though he is bald now but still so gorgeous 🤗😘🥰💞
Just because someone's bald doesn't mean they aren't pretty. If you have a pretty face then hair on your head wouldn't matter.
oh man, how i love him
John is so likable..Seems like a Genuinely nice person
Uuaauuuu Glenn Shorrock principal singer of the Litle River Band and Jhon Travolta together.... Un lujo, una joya del pasado.
John was great in Saturday Night Fever and Grease.
Kinda wish the clips didn't get cut out but nice interview
His mouth ... Wow!
Haa
Yes his mouth 👧🏿🍌
John Travolta is sexy in this interview because he's so humble and shy. Such a sweetheart. Plus, those lips, those eyes and that smile!
I agree! Love it when he licks his lips! Lol
Olivia was so lucky for kissing him more than once

Strange to think he was already 26 by 1980.
how so? he was born 26 years prior
that man’s height is IMMENSE
He's 6'2
Glenn Shorrock used to dress very good and was a great interviewer back then.
That's interesting, because I found this interview quite annoying. Glenn asked silly questions
5:46 either John Travolta is a giant or the interviewer is tiny! Maybe a combo of both.
Meraviglioso ragazzo dalle origini siciliane❤
Love him sorry for your loss
Omg so handsome
John Travolta, the Owlman.
fun to see him then and now in 2023
Australia was a beautiful country in those days. Full of the people that built it and full of dignity and humanity.
Was?
Beautiful children
Love you John
🥰💖❤❤❤❤❤
Was that Robert Stigwood in the audience ? Last few seconds, Black jacket, far right.
JT had already been in Scientology for 5 years in this interview

I wonder what John Travolta, would be like without scientology Hollywood Babylon ⚡🔥
Oh this was the year that he was rumoured to have stayed at Olivia's house (and Olivia's mom baked cakes for the 2 of them), hence being linked together as having a relationship
I thought it was because of the chemistry they had in Grease
Britney spears mk ultra personality
This was pre Paul Barresi 😆🍸
cool
He was very shy back then. Did he take his koala 🐨🐨 bear with him?

If I’m not mistaken that was the former lead singer of little river band

I never thought John Travolta was a serious actor.
Now when Travolta scratches his head he scratches bald, How tra-volting considering all that hair today gone tomorrow.
He had way too much body hair though - like an animal
Looks so awkward sitting on top of each other!
Lol
I want to get close to you, especially after that grin
Travolta was so respectful in Australia.. but once he returned to the states he went loose.
The interviewer can definitely sing, but his manner and conduct towards John is weird ! Goofball 😅
