Very nice. Im 47yr old from New Zealand. Have been slowly restoring a 64 Ducati Mountaineer 100. The three speed hand gear change model. Mechanically its done. Ridable. But still needing rear numberplate/ taillight assembly, carry rack. If you know of anything. Please. Fue and far between in this area of the world. LoL
pls tell me how you rebuild those forks. I'm working in my dad's 1963 48 sport, I have a busted pin in the left fork and can't get the springs out of the bottom forks.
Yes indeed, there are no suitable ones. Ebay offers some but mostly in bad shape. This one was bought back yo 90s as a temporary replacement but finally after restoration, it was fitted with the original one with new rings.

stunning i have a 67 Cadet as well that i am starting to restore, any help in places to find parts would be greatly appreciated. Perry
As a starting point you can use www.classicducati.com/index.php Otherwise eBay offers periodically some parts
That looks like an aftermarket piston. Can you tell me the source? I have a completely restored motor, but I can't find a piston for it.
