one of my favorite secrets that noone ever notices is after picking up the final page of the clown's story in the farm level, if you look ALL the way down, you can just barely see the tips of someone's shoes floating just behind you - meaning the clown is directly behind you at all times during the level. the shoes even go away after the ghost kid shoes up
...does this mean the ghost kid is the clown? Maybe I missed a page of context, but it wasn't super clear to me. ...unless they're talking about the creepy harlequin guy?
@@duckmrow3201actually no, you can only see the jester boots after finding the jester in each level. In the maze level for example, he's sitting on a bench to the left of the gate leading to the room with the fountain. He can only be seen for a split second each time you encounter him tho
Quick Guide: (Spoiler of course!) To get 100% (3 stars per level) you need to find all the items, which includes a hidden dreamcatcher in each level, a scroll, and 4 switches. The dreamcatchers and switches are always hidden in a small area on a pedestal by a false wall or something similar you can walk through. Some of the switches are hidden behind invisible walls or even invisible ladders! NOTE: DO THE LEVELS IN ORDER TOP LEFT, TOP RIGHT, BOTTOM LEFT, BOTTOM RIGHT IF YOU ARE GOING 100%. IF YOU DO NOT LEVEL 2's SWITCH WILL NOT REGISTER LATER IN THE GAME DUE TO A BUG, AND YOU'LL HAVE TO DO A FULL RESET! Dreamcatcher locations: - In Orange World the dungeon level with the knight it's hidden by the coffins. You can fall into the room, but the wall on the back side you can walk through to get the dreamcatcher. - In Pink World with the painter it's behind the church in the small cement square. Just push up against the front center area and you'll walk right in! - In the Green World that's a hedge maze, once you find the girl the second time go back to the hedge maze and a switch will allow you to move the red door and ascend up a latter which leads to the dreamcatcher. Not too hard to find this one. Note: The area with the dreamcatcher here is right next to an invisible ladder over the pit there! - In the Yellow World that's an old farm the wall behind the rocking chair can be passed through to get the dreamcatcher. Behind the pedestal that has the dreamcatcher is also an invisible wall and you can run through it to find a switch on the tall wooden electric pole outside the map. Scroll locations: - Orange World: In a chest in the corner of a room after you take the final mirror. Pretty easy to spot this one. - Pink World Scroll: On a shelf in one of the first sets of houses. Easy to find. - Green World Scroll: In the carousel area behind one of the stairs. Pretty well hidden! - Yellow World Scroll: Easy to get this one. It's in the chest at the foot of the bed in the house. You'll find the key to this one naturally as you complete the level. Hidden Switches: - Orange World Switch: Hard to find this one. At the top area where there is a mirror there are 3 sets of books shelves on the wall to the right with a set of boxes you can jump to. Use those boxes to jump to the center shelf, then just to the left one. Now hang a jump around the corner to the right and you'll see a tall cell looking door you cannot go through. To the right of that there is what seems to be a dead end, but it is a false wall. Move into that corner and you'll move through the wall and see the switch! - Pink World Switch: On the first area where there are three ladders to climb and switch to move the construction unit once you are at the top jump off onto the big blue shipping container, then hop carefully onto the fence on the left. Follow to the corner of the fence where if you look right you can see on the other blue shipping container a switch! Jump carefully off to land on it and hit the switch! - Green World Switch: Where you get the Dreamcatcher you must make a leap of faith directly away from where the pedestal is into the wall. Put your back against the pedestal and then run and jump off the gap and into the wall. You'll grab onto a invisible ladder. Climb up the ladder on top of the entire maze and leave the map. On one of the outside corners attached to the outside of the maze you'll see a picnic table with a switch on it. You can get back inside with the ladder against the maze around the corner from the switch! - Yellow World Switch: Walk past pedestal that has the dreamcatcher is and you'll pass through an invisible wall. You'll find a switch on the tall wooden electric pole outside of the map. Also if you're fast enough you can find a jester who looks just like you do (look down at your feet when you are on top of something.) He spawns and vanishes very quickly. - In Orange World: Very tricky to find! At the very top floor before the area where you talk to the knight to complete the level there is a door on the right before that final area with the knight. Open the door but don't go in! Look up and then peek inside the door and he'll be freaking out all the way on the roof! Once you enter the room he vanishes. - In Pink World: He appears in the church sitting in the back right area. - In Green World: He's sitting on a bench when you first enter the area with the fountain. He should be on your left. - In Yellow World: He appears inside the house sitting in the chair.
I like the little sit down in the outhouse. 👍🏻😆 4:58 "Bye bastards, Sincerely, an exhausted witch." 😲😂🤣 24:50 Game's better than I thought it would be.
Most of the time, I am glad that I wake up, cuz my dreams are so unpleasant. I wake up thinking "holy crap, I'm sure glad that that was just a dream!" So, I don't think that I am going to keep on sleeping.
Damn, I don't think I've ever had that! Even with my craziest dreams I kinda want to go back to sleep to see how they work out! I do seem to have quite a lot of control in my dreams nowadays though. I'm sure I read somewhere that gamers have much more control within their dreams (because they're used to controlling avatars in strange worlds). Pretty sure it must have something to do with it!
@@AlphaBetaGamer most of my dreams are lucid, but the ones where it felt _real_ it never failed that if any situation happened that I felt trapped (like failing at work or getting to school late) it's like my brain. even that deep in sleep. knew it was bad and I would immediately bail from the dream and wake up.
i think i finally figured out why ps1 graphics are so often used in horror games. its BECAUSE its not realistic, now hear me out, a lot of times some of the greatest concepts of horror are deemed eldritch, or uncanny, and both of those are defined by nonstandardized visual media, noneuclidean entities, extradimensional shapes, and things that appear human, or trying to be human, but are very muchly so not. thus, steps in the ps1 polygons, its sharp angles starkly make you realize its not human, but the textures, the motions, the actions, all point towards human behavior and familiarity, its al unsettling. the other reason? ps1 polygons are a lot easier than a high end thousand of polygons for an uncanny human face.
I don't know if anyone has ever told you this, but i love the way you title your videos! You're one of the few youtubers i follow, where i know exactly what im getting into when reading the title. Chef's kiss 🤌
That note that said "Clown" at the end is giving you the ability to look at the ghost clown that floats behind you occasionally after spotting him in some of the levels. He's that spooky guy you only see for a split second at parts like 10:45. You can actually see his feet twitching behind you if you look straight down, but he only starts following you after you spot him.
Played this game just now, and damn if it isn't a delight! It's a really nice, beautiful game, and the amount of secrets is incredible! Pretty much everything about it is great! ...except the Orange World, that one was more annoying than it needed to be. Also, I think my game was bugged, and I couldn't select two of the four secret switches, the Green and Pink Worlds'.
I wish this were in steam. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I know it's free, I'm just lazy and would prefer to pay the cost to have it in a library rather than go to the website, download it, etc. Maybe I will anyway. It looks so great
Ayyyy very cool to see the shoutout to Carlos Coronado in the credits! I hope he and this dev can continue to learn from each other, they both do awesome stuff!

That is you. You are the jester model or at least have his legs & feet. You can see it anytime you jump up on something and look down.
