This kind of bullying that Sonny is doing to Craig is the same type that drives kids to hurting themselves. Either the bullying is direct such as Sonny's threats to Craig or indirect by way of threatening the target's friends to stay away from the target. The result is the target feeling alone with no support. We have to get involved when we see someone being mistreated like this.

How sweet is it that John Paul was Craig's knight in shining armour from the day they first met? Actually a few people on the soap forums back then already guessed they would end up a couple from this first scene. You can even see it being hinted at in how James plays the scenes when he's in the background--John Paul is constantly turning to look at Craig even while doing other things. When Craig says "that would explain why he's a weirdo," I wonder whether he's already caught John Paul staring at him? Craig does glance at him after Sonny gets up and notices that he's looking.
