Yes you can pad it on a six pieces gown…. You need to add little inches so the foam pad can fit in properly

I think adding a pad to an A-line skirt won’t be great...... because it isn’t a fitted skirt.

You can use the ready made shoulder pad for men's suit, it's better because the edges are flattened to give the butt, the natural curve, when used for padding.

Wow, it's an amazing video and it's a lovely one at that. It's really wonderful, but I really do have a problem with my hip line. I don't understand when you say you added 1" to the hip line. Is it that, it's 1" allowance each and that making it an additional 4" or how. Because I am not really getting it there. I actually tried it, but the hip line is looking funny somehow. Thanks and more grease to your elbow.

Thank you 💞 For the african print, after taking the actual measurement with the seam allowance included, i added extra 1” allowance to just the horizontal hip measurement . Since the pad will be placed around the hip region . The reason i added 1 “ extra allowance , is to create a space for both the pad and lining to fit properly.

Make sure to create a vertical Dart . The dart should start at the waist seam and moves to the fullest area at the hip.

1 inch shd be added to Ur round hip measurement if u use a foam of half inch thickness
The thickness of the foam multiplied by 2...if u use a foam of 1 inch thickness,multiply 1 by 2 to get 2 and add the 2 to Ur round hip measurement and cut that on just Ur main fabric..for Ur lining maintain Ur original round hip measurement
