How is the visibility? I was thinking about picking one up for a Muay Thai smoker. Can you see an opponents hips/legs? I don’t like my boxing headgear for kickboxing sparring because you can’t see the legs move into kicks as well.
@@Kilosdagger I did get one. It’s definitely way better for boxing. For Muay Thai I competed with the headgear and an open face is definitely better for visibility, which is more important with the kicks and elbows. Strictly boxing, it’s a great tho. Overall I really don’t think headgear has more pros than cons so honestly would only recommend you getting the hit n move if your boxing gym strictly requires headgear to spar, if that’s the case it’s a great option and vastly superior to other options on the market. Most amateur organizations don’t even let you use your own equipment for competition anyways. In camp it’s obviously important to not get cut but most of the time it’s on the eyebrow which a typical open face will prevent just fine, plus give you more visibility.
16:30 So “comparable protection” basically means it’s not as much protection. However I hear you the lightweight and the fact it’s not compact makes it another tool in the toolbox to be used in the boxing gym.
The nose bar or full face headgears are Terrible!!! Yah with bulkier headgears they can hinder you. Got to find the one that is compact enough yet properly padded. Adidas has compact yet padded headgears.
Sell me the one on your face then at a discount because they too much they not rival or ringside. This is your first release how can it already have the championship price 😂

You’re absolutely correct about the best protection is “to hit and not get hit”! Control the distance is key to that strategy.
Looks like an extremely lightweight and compact headgear. Yet for $260.00 plus shipping and handling I think I’ll have to pass. 😅
So you’re just broke
I prefer a headgear that covers the top of the head as well.
Do you think the chinstrap clasp would hold up if hit with uppercuts
Just bought one. Thanks for the $20 coupon
No problem 👍
Mine just arrived, excited to break it in.
How was it?
Is that suitable for mma and kickboxing i cant see kicks with traditional boxing headgear i would prefer to use this for hard sparring in kickboxing
Nice military style haircut! 😊 You’d look good in a Marine uniform!

visibility is perfect
did you ever get it? i do boxing and muay thai so was thinking in getting this headgear since i hate all other headgears.

12:55 is there enough padding to prevent a black eye, if wearing 8oz padded mma sparring gloves?
this is BOXING headgear not for MMA
nonthing can stop that if they angle the knuckle it’s getting in there

Do you still feel shots to the nose a lot with this headgear? I hate getting hit in the nose, but I don’t want a facesaver if I lose visibility
Fly super bar X has excellent visibility you can see uppercuts
you will get shots to the nose if punch is down the middle
what size did you get? I might've missed it.
Small
@@SENSEIJASON would you mind if I ask what your head measurement is around the eyebrow area? 😅
I believe it was 21

Any recommendations?
