Why didn't he just say "I am so sorry, we made a mistake, we'll make you a fresh one, I hope you don't mind the brief wait." And if she made a scene instead of him, then he could say, "Miss, I'm just trying to make things right here." If she was argumentative with him, then he could ask her to leave. But damn, he just jumped down her throat for no real reason, that is NOT okay.

this episode is wild. the 2nd act introduces jose. the number of times you hear his name increases drastically as the restaurant plummets. he is the secret villain of the episode. he sneaks in like a sneaky supervillian, whose power is to not cook the meat all the way. his weakness is happy piano music, which cooks the meat all the way through. now that the meat can cook, sammy can focus on his true passion: strangling customers.
Anybody spoke to me like that in a restaurant I'd just walk out . NEVER send food back to be reheated or replaced , you don't know what they do to it in the kitchen , spit on it is the least of it . Walk out and go to pizza hut , KFC or mcdonalds , at least it's cheap and edible and it's not going to give you food poisoning . Or cook it yourself !

If the soup is good there should be no problem with it having been made the day before. Wedding soup, like most other clear soups, is better the second day after the flabours have mellowed. If the soup is poorly made nothing will help it. When I make a clear soup I start with the meat and bones in the slow cooker for 12 hours before I cool it overnight. After the excess fat is skimmed off, back on the heat it goes fir another 8 hours before it is served. That makes for delicious broth. Is great for cockalleekie and Scotch broth.
