@@ghostwarrior1 So I’ll watch and write down times they switch topics then look for something within a certain span of time to call that moment. Sometimes it’s immediate. Others it’s just the broad overall subject. I try to name them immediately what comes to mind.
I should probably punch some of them up a bit and make them more comical.

OMG titanium! My husband works with titanium in his shop, and they ALWAYS over quote on price and time for parts made of it (and surprisingly keep lotal customers). Then, they got a new shop owner who doesn't know shit about machining different metals, so he quotes titanium parts for like.. a week out!? And then asks husband, "well what if we run the machines FASTER? How quickly could we have the parts done?" Aaaand that's why next week is his last week there.
You work with the material, you don't work the material, finesse over force.

I turned 40 last month, and holy crap do I wish pod casts were as popular in like 05-10 because this sounds like me and my buddies especially after we got home from the desert.
My uncle says he was friends with that sr71 pilot and said that guy was back to work 2 weeks afterwards. Not sure whether to believe him or not. He was a pilot for helicopters in Vietnam.

1:00:00 Talking about the Top Gun Maverick movie, I watched it in theaters with my dad sitting right next to me.
My dad was a lead engineer at Lockheed-Martin for a very long time. Was part of or lead the design teams for several components of the F22 and F35.
Watching the opening scene to that movie, in a packed theater, leans over and goes:
“The geometry of that plane wouldn’t even make it close to those speeds. Hitting anything over Mach 5 for a manned aircraft needs to look essentially like a rocket with small wings.”
Loved that movie, especially with my dad occasionally supplying commentary about g-forces, plane variants when they were interesting, female top gun pilot being there for diversity, and the mechanics of ejecting from a penispouch, I mean dickravine, I mean cockpit.

I worked at Boeing and painted a lot of Titanium. In our building they had ovens where they took raw flat sheets of Titanium and put it in an oven that was around 1800 degrees (take a week to heat up). The hydraulic rams were the size of small cars. They would open the oven and the radiated heat would hit you from 200 feet away. They would press the Titanium sheets glowing red hot would come out of the oven after an hour or so as a jumbo jet part. Get sent to the water jet and cut out. It is called Super plastiforming. Some of the molds were 4 million bucks to make. Titanium is flammable and you cannot put it out with normal extinguishers. Talc is the only thing that "MIGHT" put it out. Anything over 1200 RPM can self ignite it. Grinding on it shoots white sparks violently off of it.
