This bus was new to Lothian Buses plc as 702 in March 2004 and was delivered in the company's simplified version of the harlequin livery and entered service from Marine Depot. As Lothian placed an order of 50 new Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied-Volvo B7TL's numbered 701 - 750, this bus was re-numbered as 657 and was later repainted into the 2010 version of the their classic livery and left the fleet in Summer/Autumn 2017.

@@b9tltransportvids Also, 660/1 (SN04 AEZ, AFA) had luggage racks fitted and receive purple route branding for service 35 (Edinburgh Airport - Ocean Terminal) as did 629 - 633 (SN53 AVU/V/W/X/Z), 541 - 545 (V541/2/3/4/5 ESC), 546 - 549, 551 (W546/7/8/9/51 RSG) and 662 - 666 (SN04 AAE/F/J/K/U).
