Is it true that security guards in Lidl are more assertive than typical and see thinks others wouldn't notice? I heard on the internet that there is no shoplifting in Lidl. Could they come to someone seen filming?

Why is the code for Romanian currency - Romanian leu - RON? Isn't that funny? Shouldn't it be ROL?

UK’s LIDL is much better and cheaper. I do like some fresh bakery products from Romania’s LIDL though. And the 12-13 lei frozen penne/pasta bags and the paella.

Buddy what world do you live in? Nothing in the the UK is cheaper or better than in Romania.

@@Superator69 Are you sure? Apart from alcohol and wines which are taxed less (I like the sweet wines you can find in Romania nearly everywhere), cans and bottles of pop, crisps even frozen food such as chips and pizzas are more affordable in the UK.

@@andreisuciu677 Crisps, frozen foods like pizzas, and bottles of pop? Everything you've just mentioned are junk food. I don't know about junk foods but if we're talking about the quality of food then Romania wins. The fruits and vegetables actually have flavor unlike in the UK and US and the meat tastes like meat not processed chlorinated chicken and peroxide washed beef. Speaking of junk food, even pizza and fast food places somehow taste better in Romania than the UK. The UK does have better quality food than America however, America is the worst, watch a documentary called Food Inc. American foods are tastier than UK however. Like Texas smoked bbq, crisp flavor varieties, Mexican food, Asian foods, and so on. The US has much more variety and flavor in food compared to UK.

@@Superator69 No true. Chicken has been painted yellow and sold as such in Romanian LIDL stores so that customers could be fooled into believing that they are actually buying organic corn fed chicken (check it out in Romanian news articles), tomatoes come from outside the EU, from places such as Turkey where they overspray them with pesticides significantly above the tolerated EU limits
