Im pretty late for this video but this really helped me decide if i wanted the 60a or the 60b (im getting the 60a now) thank you so much! you just earned a new sub! :)
Love the idea of using the paints on the palette and picking it up with a water brush. I recently purchased TooliArt pens , so it will be fun trying out this technique. Fun fun fun
Thank you! It’s definitely a cool effect especially for those colours we don’t use often. We can mix them with others or lighten them up and paint with them 🤗
Hi Kendra, I sure have. I think I mention in the video that I usually use Tooli-art markers because of their fine tips and they’re so opaque. My preference over poscas for sure. As they compare with the ARRTX, so in my opinion if the ARRTX set came in fine tips I’d just use the ARRTX set as they work just as well and are more affordable. The brush tips are great for large areas. I have found colouring over black lines a bit fiddly with brush tips though. So I guess it depends what you want to use them for. For backgrounds and large elements I’d use the ARRTX for black line coverage I’d use the Tooli-art. I have used the ARRTX to cover lines this month as they matched my colours better I just used a very light pressure to try to get a thin line. Hope that helps 😁
Hi Karen, why would you buy these markers for colouring in colouring books in your opinion? I thought they are more for rocks, glass, etc. I can't find them on Amazon for the Netherlands. Maybe they will be launched here as well in the future...
Hi Gerda, so you can definitely use acrylic paint pens for that but not something I’d have a use for. So when you watch my colour alongs you’ll see me use tooli-art paint pens, posca paint pens etc these are the same thing basically. So in the past I’ve used my poscas mainly for backgrounds (check out my WWW completed book and you’ll see a few), and the tooli-arts mostly for covering black lines. You’ll see me doing this a lot if you have a look at my most recent Kerby page I use them on the water and in my last few Johanna pages, I use them on the pastel elements. So the markers are the same as acrylic paint that comes in a tube that you’d paint on with a brush, these can be used in exactly the same way except the marker is your brush 🤗 Hope that helps ❤️
@@MyColourfulCountryLife thank you for your answer 😊. What do you mean by your WWW competed (do you mean completed?) book and where can I find it? What I was actually trying to ask in my initial post (but the language got in the way I guess 😆) is why you would colour in an entire page with acrylic paint pens instead of for example with water colours? But after having read your answer I get the idea you have never coloured in entires pages with these pens 😁. Gerda ❤️
@Ekster77 ohh haha that’s what happens when I type early in the morning. Yeah it’s my completed Kerby book, I’ll see if I can grab the link. th-cam.com/video/eOovFbRNoPQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4tNsoZUamahZXGo2 You could colour a whole page with the acrylics if you really wanted to. Realistically I probably won’t haha Backgrounds definitely, block colouring elements, covering lines and basing of some for sure. It’s just little out of the box ideas for different ways to use your markers to get the most out of them instead of reaching for the same few shades each time 😁
Cute bunny!! 🐇 What were you using to blend the paints on? That looked very cool! 👍 These look more simple to use than the pump styles. I just wish marker manufacturers would print the numbers and names on their barrels like they do on pencils...
So I like both for different things. The tooli-arts I prefer for colouring over the black lines as they have the fine tip. Their larger marker size however have the felt tip similar to posca so for larger items I prefer the brush tips from ARRTX, you can cover a large area and also get into some of the tight areas with the end of the brush. Both marker sets are opaque and have great flow. As for ease of use, the ARRTX are most definitely better. The ARRTX don’t need activation and you don’t need to clean the nibs. Hope that helps 🤗

Thank you ☺️ it was the Caran d’ache palette 🎨 totally agree though it would be so much easier to have pre-printed names / numbers on all mediums ❤️
@@MyColourfulCountryLife You are quite welcome!! 🤗😍
How do you like these compared to the Tooliart pens. I know this are a nib and not brush but I'm terms of quality, mine coverage, ear of use, etc.

Do you experience much bleedthrough with these?
I haven't experienced any, but I haven't tried it on thinner paper like Amazon paper yet 😊
oh, the bunny
It was so cute 🐰 I’ll get the kids to colour the others 😁
You sound like Olivia Newton-John! 🙂
Ohhh thank you so much 🥰
thank you
Thank you for sharing!!!!
