Another great video by Peter Chan. I would love If you can share your knowledge with us about moss, how to cultivate, grow and look after it. In my view bonsai is not complete without moss. PS: thank you for your signed boook I received recently from family who attended your workshop as I was unlucky and missed you in Herons.
I collect it, some is very brown, them put a layer of pumice dust that I discard after sifting, it stores lot of water and it's a darker color than perlite, I put it in partial shade during the summer, on a tray it's easy to get it out of the sun, moss likes light so you don't want complete shade, then just mist and give plenty of water.
@@steveanacorteswa3979You are right keep it moist is provably most important as in it's natural habitat in forrest. My moss is looking better during the winter ( I am living in UK) . Through rest of the year I probably failing on this part. But still wondering whether is enough to water it with rain water and it will spread as well. As I can't achieve this.

Excellent! Nice to learn and to see a father and son learning and working together!! It is such a rewarding opportunity. We'll done in training and the experience for this family!!
I can’t imagine the amount of work that would go into that.I know in my zone, I got about a meter growth just this year alone. That was with cutting a new leader every two months!
@@jamesgavern2084 yeah, it might be a lot of work based on growing zones. Most hotels do not have a 13th floor. They will skip the 13th and go right to the 14th.
