Lovely video! I’m happy I discovered your channel and will surely stay for longer 😊
I’m usually reaching for metal knitting needles but I also have a set of SeeKnits in the version Koshitsu. I love them and truly appreciate the swivelling cords. I use them for slippery yarn mostly or when I feel I’d like a touch of wood for a change. I also have DPNs from them and they are my absolute go to!
If I could also say one thing… please don’t tighten your needles by holding them by the wooden part 😅 SeeKnit even specifies it in the small leaflet that comes with the set (I believe KnitPro does mention it as well). I’ve seen almost everyone on TH-cam doing it with wooden/bamboo needles and it literally gives me shivers every time I see it. I always expect the needle to break off (it can!) 😂 I hope you’ll enjoy your set for a long time, they’re great quality needles.
    Cheers from Sweden ❤

Hey! Thanks for the tip! I must say they are so durable. I have put them through quite something, especially the thinner needles and they just keep on going! There DPNs are definitely on my list too.

I have the Knut pro set and i have found the same problem with the yarn being catch on the connection of the cord. I’m a tighter knitter 😅😅. Sometimes I wish that the needle point would be thinner but overall I’m happy with the set. Thank you for sharing your experience. ❤❤❤❤

I’ve actually not noticed it so much anymore as time went on. Still loving these so much. Especially how compact and travel-friendly they are. 😊

I think I have an earlier version of these needles - Ambari Switch. The brass connectors make my hands stink! Have you experienced that? That’s my only complaint about the needle set. Thank you for your review.

Do you struggle with the 5mm or 4.5mm and the big jump from the cable connected with the needles? I seem to have a hard time moving the stitches along at that joint 😭😭 on the Seeknit one

I don’t find it a problem. Have a look though, they brought out a range that has a smoother connection: Seeknit Curve.

I'm in the process of getting a set of seeknits. Just wondering if I can get away with just getting 10 cm needles since they are just a bit cheaper than 12.5mm ones. I assume the connector gives it a bit more lengh?

From the brass connector to the tip my ones that were sold as 12.5cm are 13cm. So doesn’t really add much length. I think I’d rather save up a bit longer to get exactly the needles I know I’ll use the most. I think they are an investment but if you love bamboo needles they’re definitely worth it. Just as a tip, you could get a fixed circular first to see if you like the length or not before buying an interchangeable set. 🙂

Wonderful review! Do you know if you can use the Seeknit screw on stoppers with KnitPro needles? I would love to pick some up for my Tunisian crochet hooks if so.

Hi, I just had a look and you can't use the Seeking stoppers with the KnitPro cables because they both have 'male ends' to borrow some connector terminology.

Can i ask were you brought them? I've been looking at a seller of them in Germany but i would really perfer to buy them off a UK seller

Hi, they were from MacCulloch & Wallis, which is a UK-based shop. Hope you'll like them. :)

I'm not sure if you're still looking for this, but Needles-and-Wool in Germany has them.

Hi! Was wondering if you’d be able to clear something up for me. I’m a newer knitter, and I got the Koshitsu needles s a gift. I cannot seem to understand how the cord lengths are measured. What part exactly corresponds to the 35 cm, 55cm, and 75cm? I’d appreciate any guidance!

@vrenee13 Hi! Idk if you've found the answer considering you asked a while ago BUT they are measured from needle tip to needle tip. That means, you include the length of the left needle, the cord and the length of the right needle. This is why you won't find a 16" circular needle cable with a 5" needle tip. The needle tip has to be shorter to knit in the round in that small of a circumference.
How's your knitting going? I'm new as well and your question was also something I was confused by at first!
