The estate is also ideal for equestrians, and was home to the prize-winning Thoroughbred stud Super Diamond. The grounds have played host to many social events and as a filming location for several motion pictures.

Spent a good bit of time there. Used to be Roland Sahm's house, he founded Elixir Industries, where my dad was a VP. He also bought Masi Bicycles in Italy, and moved the factory, lock, stock and barrel, to the Ranch. The pool had lapis and real gold plated tiles on the bottom. That fascinated me as a kid, almost as much as the bike factory. The orchards were pretty impressive, as was the horse stable.
Ramona Sahm was always very kind to me, and used to get me tamales from in town for lunch... :-)
