GIRL you really made a whole MOVIE?? this is AMAZING so aesthetically pleasing, so beautiful, so straight up CINEMATIC. the scene w/three of you? ART i am SO IN LOVE AND IMPRESSED. The sound of the fans opening gives me chills. Thank you for letting me and Mateo be a part of this, however we could! I nearly cried when I saw the society in special thanks Great job, Kartsie :) we're immensely proud of you and your work
This looks awesome! I've been keeping up with this series since around the time you made the hakama and it's so cool to finally see end result. Fantastic job!!
now THIS is phenomenal! you nailed it, this looks amazing I feel like I was watching the intro of like a big avatar story plot. THIS IS WONDERFUL!! great job Karina ur awesome:,)
Woow this is dope. I just came from watching you make it and i had to see the reveal. Im personally trying to make my own armour but out of metal. So even tho yours wasnt metal it was very inspiring and dare i say amazing. Loved watching the anime and i think you captured every part while translating it to reality with the weaving. Good job.
Oh my gosh your work is so amazing!! I've always wanted to make a kyoshi warrior cosplay and I'm going to my first con in a few months so I figured it's the perfect time to start working on it! I was wondering how comfortable you thought your kyoshi cosplay was to be in? I'm not really sure what to expect, since I've never been to a con before and I want to make sure I'll be able to still enjoy it and a cool cosplay without being too hot or anything XD
It's comfortable. The armor can get a heavy but you get used it it. The biggest thing with the costume is over heating. I personally live in a very warm climate (florida) so I did get close to passing out once but it's also partially because I had sugar before 😅 my advice would be to think about your climate and pick fabrics that are not too thick. The biggest thing I would suggest is to make the costume easy to take off so that you can cool down.
They are Kung fu fans I got off Amazon in black and I used gold flex paint to paint the fabric part gold (takes about 2 to 3 coats) and brown flex paint to paint the handle.
