Dear ustadh, I hope you will read my comment. Assalamu alaykum I am originally from Mauritius. Please know that your videos have been a great help. sincerity in your words and simplicity in what you say. being a revert for 4 years now alhamdulillah it hasn't been easy at all. I am being pulled from left to right by Muslims themselves. I live with my parents who are Catholic and do not accept my choice of Islam. I pray that Allah rewards me with a nikah that I am sure will open the door to a better life for me so that I can live in trust with Allah. I want to be able to wear the veil, live in a halal atmosphere but I cannot force my family to believe in Allah other than making dua that one day they will have hidayah. It's been 4 years since I lived my Ramadan alone. I cry out every day that Allah gives me a half that will serve as my guide. I would like to be able to live like a true Muslim and start a family. This video helped me a lot to understand that only Allah can give me what my heart desires and that is nikah. I don't know how to make Dua in Arabic but I speak to Allah in French. until now I still haven't found a good half as revert is hard because in Mauritius people consider reverts as bad people. Even when you searched for help with imams some of them got to use your situation because you are not like their own daughter to them. Please I'm doing my Dua wrong?
AsalamAlaikum sister may Allah bless you with affiyat and happiness and keep you strong on iman..and may all your dua get accepted..Ameen sometimes in our lives we feel lonely..but remember when no one is there Allah is always with us no matter what how much sinner we are Allah never never leaves us alone..we should have that strong tawaqal on Allah..feeling lonely and low is from shaitaan ..keep yourself strong whenever you feel depressed perform 2 rakat salat and Allah I know you are with me...i am not alone..start reading surah baqara and keep yourself busy reciting Astagfirullah...when ever you are free it helps a lot...and remember how far we are we don't know each other..but i am your sister in islam ..and i will always remember you in my prayers..In shaa Allah..please pray for me Aswell.. dont loose hope ...Remember Allah is always there with you...and when almighty is with us we don't need anybody...and one more thing don't try to change your family to accept islam ..we cant do that ..Pray for their hidaya..and Allah will do the rest...In shaa Allah..Allah will change their hearts..In shaa Allah..take care don't Cry for dunya cry for deen...love you for the sake of Allah..
