I felt like Mark and Taeyong really stood out in this song for me, maybe because it's more similar to their usual concepts in NCT 127 but they seemed really in their element. Also I'm still waiting for an actual rap verse from Lucas. It's kind of sad because we know he can do it from seeing him in WayV, but it seems like all the rap verses are reserved for Taeyong and Mark, while Lucas gets the hype chorus/one-line parts. That's really the only thing I would change though, I enjoyed this song very much. It's definitely one of my favorites from SuperM so far. Looking forward to the rest of the album!!

@@Liz-qb1ki bcos they are also one of SM aces. But in a supergroup like SuperM even the main in their original group may not be able to be the main in this group. Like in vocal wise I can see Baekhyun and and Taemin as the mains. In rap, of course Taeyong and Mark. In dancing.. Ten is definitely a superb dancer, but SuperM also have Taemin and Kai. So I can see how sometime we feel the lack of Ten and Lucas present in the group. But still Ten and Lucas are important part of the group just as how other groups also having lead vocals, rappers or dancers. Still I'm grateful that Ten and Lucas are in the group as they get so many experience and exposure being in this supergroup.
Back 2 U of course it’s a amazing thing they are in this group and everything else, and I really don’t expect them to have main positions, but sometimes it’s really short you know? Even like, just screen time seems a bit too short
Taeyong growling was a cultural reset, everyone went crazy over that so I think it's fair to say that this is his era, also SM better start giving Lucas and Ten more lines and screen time because fans are getting more and more pissed off each time!

Taeyong stands out the most to me here, because of his outfits in the last set and his last 'ah~' that opening the palace scene. But he looks just good in every other outfits as well. Mark stands out as well but I'm not a huge fan of that hot pink hair though.

Taeyong really stood out to me in this mv! The way he was styled and his ad libs throughout the song were really impactful. I felt like those were things that only he could pull off. But I do agree that overall the members were very balanced in the mv.

I feel like tiger inside is for the Korean market, it’s more Korean and less English lyrics. While 100 is mostly English and feels directed to the US market, but this is just my opinion. I like both songs such a bop, but I like tiger inside more :). Ps: I’m happy your back I understand why you needed a break, the world is too cruel for us. Keep up the great content :)!!

They have been promoting in Korea lately. But I still think Tiger Inside should be how their style always is, it's way better than 100 and Jopping and plus they seem to prefer this concept rather than the 100 and Jopping concepts. I think they shine the most when they are doing the SM style.
I'm a hardcore Ten and Lucas stan so I was sad they didn't have more lines, but Kai's visuals and Taeyong's verses literally killed me (special shoutout to Taeyong's man bun as well)
Interestingly enough, this song is entirely Swedish handiwork (except for the Korean lyrics of course), written and produced by Moonshine and Alexander Karlsson. Nevertheless I agree it has a much more classic SM K-pop feel than Jopping, for instance
SM actually buys a lot of Swedish-produced music regularly so it makes sense that it sounds like classic SM stuff

I just pointed it out because PD was talking about SM often tweaking songs they buy from the West to give them more of a "K-Pop sound", but in the case of Tiger Inside, no Korean songwriters or producers are credited, yet it still sounds very much like a K-Pop song, albeit an SM one.

Moonshine and SM is such a good combo
For me Taeyong really stood out in this mv, his ponytail and then the crop top, strong feminine energy while still being very dangerous. Also vroom vroom. I feel like he has more screen time than some of the others. I did not get enough Kai dancing screen time. They basically only showed him center at the very end of the last chorus and he makes everything look so sharp.

Considering the fact that SM intended to break the western market with SuperM, it's logical that they would go for something impressive and hyping like Jopping, that would be easily accepted by many. Now that they're releasing more content it feels like they're finally creating an identity for themselves, while keeping the initial grand concept of SuperM.

Tiger Inside IS SuperM's best comeback yet. It felt that they got back to their roots and I love how the song showcases the different members' group sounds (even felt some of Baekhyun's parts sounded like his own songs).

Tiger Inside sounds a lot like Exo and NCT combined, and I really hope they would incorporate more of a SHINee feel into future songs. They make full use of Mark and Taeyong's raps and also Baekhyun's high notes, but they're sitll under-utilizing Kai, Taemin, Lucas, and Ten. We don't hear much of Ten and Lucas the tracks, but the fact that they took center stage in the chorus give me hopes of more of their parts being incorporated. Kai's dance game is always, but he also has a really nice vocal tone. Taemin, especially, is not being represented as a singer, but more like a vocal break in between all the busy music. However, I do agree that Tiger Inside is their best comeback yet and my favorite thus far.

Man Taemin's voice and parts give soul to the songs. And I agree with finally being able to use Baekhyun and Taemin, two of their best vocalists in the tiger inside so well.
My issue with Jopping was that it took itself too seriously... quite a risky venture with a made up word. As I've listened to their other songs, and now that they've released Tiger Inside, I also feel like I can go back and enjoy Jopping for its energy and performance and not feel like SM is forcing a dumb word into my vernacular lol

omg i totally agree. it was almost cheesy and cringey even though the song and performance was so powerful. the actual word really kind killed it for me lol. but now that there's tiger inside i too can look back and appreciate jopping more haha.

I really love this song/video/choreo. For me Taeyong stood out in the video and I thought his and Mark's rap were exceptional.
SuperM clearly tapped the legend NCT rap/dance duo but they really have not featured them THIS well together in the MVs and in the concerts they barely interacted. We know they have at least two unreleased full length raps one 127 has done in concert and one they just did with superM on knowing bros

the standout parts for me was baekhyun's bridge. baekhyun's vocals are the glue of this song. i feel like their songs would almost sound hollow without baekhyun's vocals. love love when mark and taeyong rap together. and the transition to the last set where taeyong's arm is in the air and he sings "ahhahhh". i LOVE THAT MOMENT 5:45.that last set is GORGEOUS and their outfits are even MORE GORGEOUS. they lool like elite warriors. this is by far SuperM's best song. jopping and 100 are too mechanical? for me. there's a softness that is lacking which tiger inside has.

I agree. I love the eastern flare at the end and for me this is by far the best song SuperM has released. I also think from the titles this is the first song that actually has interesting lyrics while jopping and 100 "we have a lot of energy" thing felt so void of actual feelings. Then again jopping and 100 are catchy no doubt about that. I am really curious about the bsides on their upcoming album. I wonder for example if they're gonna do a ballad or if the whole album will feature only hype songs.
