Concerning the forthcoming parts of the abortion series: I understand that since the Roe v Wade leak this video has been garnering more attention and comments than usual. Let me be clear: I do plan on continuing this series, I just have been busy with multiple projects that I haven’t had the time to work on my abortion series. This channel covers a wide range of topics from literature analysis to philosophy to social and political issues. With that being said, I try to cover all those topics with equal percentage. I will be working on the next video in the upcoming weeks. And since I take my time when researching for my longer critical essays, the next video on the abortion series should be expected sometime in the next few months. The videos will address the following: Part I: History of Abortions Part II: Philosophical Investigations (epistemology, metaphysics, ethics). Part III: Biology of Fetal Development. Part IV: Legal History of Abortions. Part V: The Politics of Abortion. Part VI: Conclusion (where do we go from here?). I thank you all for your patience and hope you understand that since abortion is easily one of the most divisive subjects it’s crucial that every aspect this topic entails must be considered with careful and thoughtful seriousness.
Pro-life is not fetus above all else. If the pregnancy is ectopic, pro-life is okay with abortion. If the mother is literally dying, save the mother first and try to save the fetus. If the fetus dies as a result, that’s too bad.

In PA if Doug Mastriano is elected governor he will try to pass a law outlawing abortion at any time and for any reason, including the life of the mother. And who will get to define what is "life of the mother" is? And if abortion is illegal where will a woman even get the procedure of find a doctor willing to perform one?
@@eliannahankin2971 "nonviable" What if it's viable and the mother has cancer? What if she's suicidal? Why does fetal viability matter over the life of a person with autonomy?
@@wickjezek1101 if it’s viable fetus then you deliver the fetus and the mother gets treatment. Look at what conservative states leaders are saying. The goal is to safe the mother and if the fetus is viable, 24 weeks gestation, to save it too.
I've studied most of this but never before chronologically focused on abortion. I really appreciate all of your hard work on this. If there is anything I can do to help as a token of gratitude, let me know. I am currently in graduate school and I am a language machine. Air Force vet in cryptographic linguistics, DoD certified linguist, and a rambler extraordinaire if you need another set of eyes I'm your guy. 👍🏽

Interesting video, thanks for your efforts. I think there's a mistake at about 13:00 when you say "114,000 BCE". Maybe it should be 1400.
Still waiting on the rest of it ! Have been trying to find some history on abortions for years
Part 2?
do you think you'll make a part ii?
I'm gonna need a part two now!
Great work! Would love to see more parts.
Do you ever plan on posting the rest, or is this a closed book
Very interesting. Thank you for your time and effort!

The laws in some states with no exception for the life of the mother would beg to differ.
@@wickjezek1101 there is no legislation that prevents terminating of nonviable pregnancy when the mother is in danger. None.

Please put down the thesaurus. You're abusing it.
