Honestly I'd say open only the ones that aren't hard to find. An impressive epic Simpsons collection bar none. I'm going to have watch this again to find the NARC sticker of course.
Very nice collection! The NARC sticker is next to the chess set! My favorite character is groundskeeper Willie because of his cool voice! I would keep the sets sealed!

I'd say open the playsets (unless you want to find them loose and keep these in box? It's a tough call)...
My favorite character is Krusty. He's the epitome of "the sad clown". A dark, but funny character. (My second favorite is probably Hank Scorpio. The ultimate likable villain!).

I say get two of each, one to open, one to keep sealed. Sticker by chess set. Favorite character is the guy who owns the military shop in the first season.
Don't open them. Just pick up loose versions when you see them. You know you'll keep collecting and it gives you something to look for without the pressure of having to buy them if they are charging too much.

Yes. I usually ask myself “ Is it a better display piece opened or sealed?” Seeing all of spring field makes it sound like it’s worth opening.

Every time I see how cool the Playmates Simpsons line looks together I’m shocked it’s still really affordable and didn’t get that big post Covid price jump we saw effect so many lines.
Thanks to Boston Mike for showcasing his awesome Simpsons collection. I also have a huge Simpsons collection. I have the Playmates line complete in box/on card. I also have most of them loose as well. My favorite character is Homer. The NARC sticker is inside the mini figure set next to the chess set (which I also own!) #onemantoyshow

I think Mike should open and display the Springfield set. I think each collector should go with his/her preference and it sounds like Mike is ready to open them up to display.
My favorite section is the bootlegs. I love seeing all of the different Homers, especially Freddy and Jason.
next to chess set, LOVE the entire collection. I am so afraid to begin collecting anything Simpsons due to the rabbit hole it becomes, or could become. Love the Star Wars ones, carbonite etc. Just wow. I have a majority of the South Park figurs from Kid Robot. Very Expensive for some of them. Still need a few. My fav character is Willy, the groundskeeper. I live in Boston and always loved the accent aroundme, irish italian scottish sweish etc etc.

The Narc sticker is on the set near the Chess set. I think you should leave them closed. I like how you have a variety of opened and closed complete sets. I also have a collection of toys and other collectibles including boot legs. My favorite character is Homer as Mr. Plow. My favorite play set is the playmates Homer at the bat.

I just seen that simpson toys are starting to come back found some at target and was surprised. I own a huge collection i have a full room of them and they might go up in price since maybe people are starting to collect

Bart is definitely my favorite Simpsons character because when the Simpsons first came out in the late 80s his character and I were the same age. So I always thought he was cool because he was a totally cool rebel, with a flat top, riding a skateboard, and always doing funny pranks like crank calls to Moe's Tavern.
Open that sh*t up! Candy is always best enjoyed outside the wrapper!
