I saw this band at a small venue in Brooklyn Center MN. in about 1972 and they knocked my socks off! Exceptionally Talented. We all thought they would "make it big" Thanks for the memories .
I remember going to the Control Data building on Selby Ave and watching the band rehearse a lot. Stevie was one of my drum mentors and the Johnson brothers were always so nice to me. This band was fierce, but as I learned mismanaged to death. Love the guys and wish I could se them again before we all go to the next place.
Own both of these LPs (the re-issue of "Haze" (1974) and a $250 copy of the shelved 1977 "Haze II"); both are phenomenal. It's great to see this exceptionally-talented group on the rise once more. Love you guys!
This is incredible music. I get why you like it so much. Yes, it's stereo typical 70s funky, but it departs in that it is experimental, proggy and rock influenced, not just funk.

Omg brings me back to those days. I love it
Whew, they had over 10 members in their lineup. That's a lot of people on one stage but it was common even though it was way before my time....lol....
