Radiohead. The Smile. Band names... Thom and Jonny are peerless artists. Songwriters, musicians, performers, etc. The absolute pinnacle of sound. We are so lucky to be living in these moments, witnessing their genius and listening to their golden sounds.
my thoughts in 1995 at 16. more true now. they are unique. Jonny is once in a life time. Thom is able to portray emotion and intensity like no other. they are my Lennon and McCartney

its a separate band from his solo endeavours! 'the smile' is a band he formed with fellow radiohead jonny greenwood and also the drummer from the band 'sons of kemet', tom skinner. kinda funny there are two "t(h)oms" in there...

If anyone's wondering, the name "the Smile" comes from a poem of the same name. There's a good channel on YT, "Professor Skye's record reviews" where he breaks it down(where the name comes from) and talks about the album some as well.

no clue, looked like he was looking up towards the audience on the higher platforms at the back - he tends to sometimes really stare at random ppl in the audience appearently though
