In this series, you will learn how to fold easy origami product. We will start the basic triangle folding and use it to make an Origami Dog.
Fine-motor skill is critical for small children. In Japan preschoolers and kindergarteners learn how to fold origami in school. This helps children in the future when they start learning geometry and trigonometry in grade school.

■ Origami Paper (or a foldable square paper)
■ Marker (black)

At the beginning, small children will have difficult time matching corners, but it is ok. Their curiosity and willingness are more important than perfection.
Eventually they will be able to match the corners and sides easily as they practice.
