I bought new ED just for lust card. Also, it’s legit to constructively criticize deck(s). In fact important and needed. However, I heard criticisms of this decks where the viewers extended criticism to the creator by personalizing it about creator via making assumption about the name of the deck, her reasons for various changes to editions, her skill level at collaging etc. In my view, this is not OK as we don’t know creators themselves. In general, I think we (myself included) should all relearn how to constructively criticize. Thanks for sharing and shit I edged my new one black but will do red! and ohhh PASSION!!!!!!!

Great video Anna! I agree this deck deserves praise and honestly so does the creator. I feel she has been singled out and that makes me sad. Passionate about this deck. It’s deep and ancestral to me. I adore it. I’d rather spend my money on 1 quality deck than several mass market cheap ones that do not stand the test of time. ❤❤❤
Love this video, Anna!!! I am passionately in love with those BOOTS! 🤩 Totally agree with you re: tarot tube. And I am in love and lust with the Ritual Tarot. Tiera May is a sweetheart, a few months ago we had a brief correspondence where she told me that I was (at the time) the only person she knew who had bought a deck from each printing (save the gilded one) 🙈 and she was expressing her gratitude. It's just that good, and an amazing and potent reader for me. And I'm forever grateful to Tiera May for creating it.
I love this deck. It's easily in my top 5. And I'm very excited for her to release a titled version. Do i think this deck gets undeserved harsh criticism? Absolutely. Do i wish the price was more friendly to everyone? Yes. But i do understand that sourcing decks from an international ecological printer in small batches does warrant a higher price point. And i do believe artists need to be paid fair wages for their work. And just because it's analog collage doesn't mean she's not deserving of all the time she put into this piece of work. With that being said, I've seen people go gaga over other higher prices decks, one of which is a majors only deck that comes with a handful of oracle cards. So i think some of the hate train in the Ritual Tarot is just peer mimicry. Since it's the cool thing to do, that's what people are doing. Like in one video where someone who loves this deck watched a video of someone bashing about the wrinkles and she found herself being swayed while watching that video but when she picked her deck up she found that the wrinkles didn't even bother her. I think the Ritual Tarot will be around for a long time. 🖤

I love my copy of the Ritual Tarot. The deck is passionate, earthy, exciting and filled with common sense. Love the hint on how to make a Thoth Greenie lol.
I'm really happy you connect with the ritual tarot ❤ though i'm not sure what you mean about balancing the scales. This deck has definitely been divisive, but division may still end in balance. I myself am not a fan of the deck and no longer own it. I admit I find the conflation with 'deck and its creator' seems especially prevalent with Ritual Tarot (just my personal impression - these days this *is* more common in tarot tube) and I'm not sure how that makes me feel. Still, I think it's totally up your ally and that makes me happy! It's always fun to see someone enjoy their own relationship with a deck. Hey Sorsha, I mean that the deck and creator has gotten hate and I am here to give it some well-deserved love :) Completely ok to let go of a deck because it doesn't work for you or simply don't like it.. I know I've done that many times! I also love to see people talk about their beloved decks

I have no problem with people expressing their opinions, my issue is people's reactions. This gets complicated because it's very easy to type in something quickly, send it, and then later realize it doesn't read like you thought it would. Comment sections can be great but also words still matter. If someone says something that triggers me I try to step back and breathe. The world has so many (BIG) problems, I don't want to fuel flare-ups. Thank you for sharing.

I adore the Ritual Tarot, and am so glad to see such a passionate video highlighting just how stunning a deck it is. I use my second edition with both Lust and Strength because each card gives me wildly different vibes. TarotTubers who do 10 unboxings a month but then complain about the cost of this deck confuse me, but to each their own. Love the boots, btw!

New to the channel - very much love the *passion* you bring to tarottube! This video finally convinced me to go ahead and pick up Ritual Tarot finally. Saw some of the bordered prototyping on the creator's socials. It would be a bit easier to learn the deck with titles on the cards, but I do very much love a deck with no borders and no names. There's something timeless, expansive, and, ya, cosmic about a no-words/no-borders deck. Very much looking forward to the ungoogleable Ritual Tarot. Great boots, btw. What product did you use on them to help loosen them up?

The naming thing really hit me, both as a Live fan but also as an unironic witch house fan. Those band names are impossible for the internet but also probably could have never existed without it. Was oOoOO my favourite or were they just the easiest to find? We may never know. Maybe the real version of "Become ungovernable" is "Become ungoogleable"? At any rate, the more I hear about the Ritual Tarot, both good and bad, the more interested in it I get. The things that don't seem to work for others seem right up my alley...unfortunately, one of those things is the lack of titles, so it sounds like I might have to hurry and make up my mind!

I passionately adore this deck, and have been really sad about the negativity thrown the artist's way. I think sometimes the words honest and negative get conflated in terms of review. Not to say that folks shouldn't be able to negatively review things, but I'm super careful about what I bring into my collection. By the time I hit purchase I already know I like the deck. When it ends up not working for me it's generally me learning something new about myself and how I relate to the tarot, not me figuring out the deck is bad. Also I badly want a print of at least the lust card.

The Lust card is everything! I won a large size print from a give-away Tiera May did and it hangs beautifully on my wall. My only conflict is not having the version with the Lust card and it would be my 3rd time purchasing the deck. I passed my first edition on to a well known you tuber who gave it lots of love and would probably pass my second edition maybe to a critic. I think it will be the definitive version for me since I do not think I want the titled version.
