I am with u on the strawberries in maison jars i take mine out of the store pack up in a tupperware lined with paper towel i dont wash them untill i go to use them i can store them in fridge perfectly for over a week no joke and i am fussy lol px

Where you can get reduced price food some stuff will be near the bbd but you can always freeze fresh food like your meats etc I have one in my area and hope to go soon to collect my membership card and have a look around. Since loosing my partner John in April this year and the cost of food I need to find cheaper items since my income has had a significant drop.
Yes, we have a Company shop where I live too, very useful to collect a few bargains and you never know what’s going to be on offer there plus they give you lots of info on how much extra time some products can have on them.
If they’re fizzing they’ve fermented definitely not for eating. If you wash them in white vinegar instead of water it prevents mould spores from germinating, they’re always present on the skin, just a side effect of fresh grown fruit. However using water accelerates the growth cycle rather than smothering them, which the vinegar does, you can store them as normal.
My youngest daughter just brought in a box filled with 8 fresh from m&s bakery pain au chocolate and i immediately thought oh hannah and the kiddos would love these. Claire from mum life and more her wee ones love them too ... its a shame i dont live closer or i would have shared .... px
Glad your feeling a bit better oh when you go aldi they ha e a double pack of bacon jn a sealed plastic it's called essential s and it's thick cut I always get jt is so nice you can getsmoked or unsmoked it's 4 pound odd hannah Sunday why don't you do a cottage pie or a meat pie eater stilling you've got mince jncooked your potatoes and your mince then mash potatoes and minx mince with jf and make a pie and the mince and potatoes put in a pie then all you've got todo is do a veg and gravy you can always make your pie Saturday and put in fridge love fran xxxx
It's not rude to ask hunny. Lol it's quite funny I don't normally get poorly as in a bug or cold but I have caught one at the moment. But I suffer with health conditions of which both mental and physical that flair up. Doing every day tasks can cause a great deal of pain but being a mum of four I try and push through it. But some times my body pushes back and refuses to let me do anything and I become bed or house bound due to such high pain 😢

Nice cold fruit two trays water in the bottom one you could freeze it to ice tray on top with fruit in keeps it nice x
