You guys are only the second reactors to mention Jackie, which is sad. Everyone seems to forget that she was in there too and nobody wanted to save her. At this point Rick had only recently woken up and hadn’t seen the horrors of the new world Shane on the other hand has seen what people are willing to do and adapted quicker then anyone else creating a literal good cop and bad cop dynamic.
dale didn’t take andrea’s choice, he also made a choice. he wanted her to live, she didn’t want to. he decided he didn’t want to live if she wasn’t going to. andrea decided she wanted to save dale, that’s not dales fault. he just wanted to be with andrea he didn’t care if it was in life or death. she was the last person he cared about, he would’ve done anything for her, even die.
Fair. But it changes that final moment for her. Instead of feeling relief and release, her final moments are filled with guilt over Dale who made it clear that the only reason he is staying-and dying- is because of her. If he didn’t make it clear to her that that was his reason, I think I’d be more okay with it. So maybe it wasn’t a choice he was taking. But he definitely stole something from her. In a world where she already has such little control over what happens, now she can’t even off herself the way she wants: guilt free and without someone else’s blood.
@ yeah i get that too. personally i dont think dale wanted to take anything away from andrea, but to encourage her to keep fighting. dale cared about andrea more than anyone else. yes it was a bit selfish of him, but he did save andrea. i know she was upset in the moment and for a while after, but she grew to be grateful for what he did. she not only wanted to live but actively tried to survive. dale took something from her that night, but he gave her something greater- the will to live. i think in any situation where “self existing” is considered, it should be stopped, even in the apocalypse. dale did the right thing.

Season 2 is slow but compensates with character building and is the groundwork for future Seasons to me Season 2 is the best Season for character development Daryl really becomes one of the best characters next Season in my opinion so I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about that.
This is the deleted scene from Season 2 Episode 1. It was supposed to be the opening scene and they completely took it out. So, there are no spoilers. They went with another opening. Blocking the door implies he thought Rick was alive but let’s be honest Leaving a man in a coma in the middle of a Zombie infested wasteland while the world falls apart 99 times out of 100 that’s a death sentence I don’t blame Shane for telling Lori he was dead.
@@onetallpheeeshhe did tell her the truth. Shane thought Rick was dead. So he got lori and Carl to safety. That’s all there is to it. Shane was right about everything, obviously him touching Lori like that was not cool at all but apart from that he was a G. Anyone who disagrees with his mindset are the ones that won’t make it very far.
@@blakefletcher8052 he told her her husband was dead, but still blocked the door to his room because he "thought he was dead" lol no sir, he didn't know for sure and still chose to lie to Lori because he knew she wouldn't listen to him if she knew there was a chance he was still alive. Right move? Sure. But it was still a lie.
Another awesome video, 👍👍 This was an awesome episode, I have never been into most of the old zombie flicks, since they are more of a satanic rise from the dead kind of thing, whereas TWD is more believable since it is a virus/disease causing it kind of thing, especially for new watchers since experiencing Covid, 😏👍 If you have not seen it yet, Z Nation was pretty great too, 🙂 My ‘what the h***’ moment was why the military guy that looked into Ricks room did not shoot him, since they were shooting both the dead and the living, 🤔 I agree, I believe Shane did think Rick was dead because he did not hear a heartbeat so he made the decision to not worry about his dead friends body due to all the chaos and honor him by trying to save Rick’s family, I believe he moved the gurney in front of the door so the dead/Walkers could not get to Ricks body, unfortunately the stress of the apocalypse and the bad head space he is in now since Ricks return, his thoughts have been on the evil side, especially attacking Lori like that, 😏 So sad Jacqui decided to stay, I was hoping they would give her more screen time, I felt Dr. Jenner would have been an asset also, 😏 RIP Jacqui and Dr. Jenner 😪 I kept waiting on Shane’s hot headed random shooting at the consoles to take out the one for the door, your the only Reactor thus far that has had the same thought, 👍 Have a safe and wonderful week, 👋😀👋
