I grew up listening to Bob Crane, 4 hours of non-stop laughter & fun. I was privileged to attend one of his shows at CBS & saw a radio personality who was a one-off. You knew u were seeing someone the likes of which u would never see again. Lavalier mic around his neck, he was like an octopus, hands constantly in motion handling all the comedy records that provided the hundreds, if not thousands of voices on his show, many of which were voiced by Crane himself. He dominated the ratings! If u hadn't heard him, u'd never know because he's never been duplicated! Many airchecks abound. Crane was timeless! If he were on the air today he'd be as relevant as he was then. Long live Bob Crane!
David Hazard I saw clips of his show on my local PBS station during the pledge drive they do. I remember Danny Kaye on a movie about legendary children's author Hans Christian Anderson.
Frank Lloyd Wright Jr Frank a major architect in his own right and he was the son of Frank Lloyd Wright and took over the sum of the renovation of the house
Danny Kaye was limited in that kind of "shock jock" humor because he was a nice guy and didn't want tp participate in such type of humor. KFI and KFMB with Dick Wittington, Perry Allen, Hudson and Landry and KFRC got pretty outrageous. I do not recall Bob Crane.

I don't think anyone in Hollywood has ever had a better smile then Bob Crane. When he flashes that grin of his, you just can't help but smile too.
I agree. The voice, the confidence...the talent.
Amen to that! I adore Bob Crane so, so much. 💞
I'm actually a distant relative of Bob Crane. I definetley love everything he did massive respect! Love this clip!

I don't care how many times I hear him tell the story about the dead flies, it always makes me laugh.
Love Bob Crane ❤❤❤❤❤
Bob crane was the greatest. Soooo funny
Holy shit, if that’s what Bob was like on the radio I’m officially pissed off that I wasn’t born until 1988!
Indeed! I grew up listening to him. No one like him anywhere, before or since!
I need this so much in my life!
I love Bob crane
I was privileged to hear his 10-year anniversary show. I truly believe he was a genius at his profession. He inspired many.
Excellent
rest in peace Bob, Col. Hogan
Who would have thought he would be murdered in 1978. So tragic
I love this!
I sometimes think about how his career would be know if he were still alive.
He would have taken over for Jonny Carson, I bet.
@@Ilostmyfob He does sort of have that Mid West thing going like Carson did.
Danny Kaye was a comedic genius.
What a great find! Thank you for uploading!

He had great talk show voice and personality...... tragic how his life ended
Danny Kaye was so talented.
Bob was taken from humanity WAY TOO EARLY. He had many years left to go!
For some odd reasons Bob Crane is so relaxed and nervous at the same time
What about D.J. on WICC in Bridgeport, Ct? 🤓😎✌🏼

"Beginner's Luck". .
The day I went, for the first time, to kindergarten. They had pancakes, I remember.

Ended up with his head smashed in. He peed somebody off.
3:12 Etymology? He meant entomology.
Bob had such a split personality which the bad side led to his ultimate demise. The good side was so entertaining. RIP Bob.
He wasn,t pefect ,but he didn,t deserve what he got!
