- Feb. 28, 2024 - Saw this Wilson's snipe foraging at edge of retention pond in West Anne Arundel County, Maryland. You can also observe in this clip its peculiar bouncing motion when not foraging. I have read elsewhere that this bouncing behavior is related to trying to get potential prey to make a move.
