EDGE......Play your way....I have found that by raising the market price by Only 20--40 cents above keeps them buying....when you Order stock the XP bar goes up....expanding...buying racks, shelves, freezers...it goes up BUT it really does as you buy new licenses and then the new stock.....have 3 cashier and 3 stockers....you only need to bring stuff into storage...order and adjust prices....it means Nothing whether you ring them up or not....these are the things I have found that work best...BUT Play Your own way !!!
Since I am not sure if you should jack the prices or not, I would suggest jacking up like 2 shelves of items and see what happens. If you loose sales or customers, that would be easiest to return to lower prices. I am really enjoying watching you play this GameEdged! You are the Best ❣
You can steal their lose change, you'll lose a few points though...but that will help you get your money back. It differs each day on how much money you can steal. I saw DomKicks stole $15 in one of his videos. I don't [really] recommend raising prices too high, because some of the customers will complain about a .30cent raise. Hope this helps! (I also started binge watching your Supermarket Simulator videos last night, and I quite enjoy your commentary and your organization skills.)
Since I've been watching at the beginning of this series its been great to see how much you've expanded, and still manage to be addicting to watch and play as well. :)
Prices going down doesn't have to be a bad thing. Especially if they drop for products that you are low on stock on. Buying low and selling high is classic, and something businesses do all the time. Is there a way to see how the market price of an item has shifted over time without having to track it manually? Like a graph or something?
So, I haven’t been following the comments on the series, so I apologize if this already been said, but this tip might help when you’re rearranging things like rearranging the whole store. You can use any empty box of the same size to move a product so you can use the olive oil box to move the other oil around or you could use an oil box to move the shampoo around, or you can use a butter box to move the single bottles of beer because the box sizes are the same and so you can move them around that way. However, having said that, I realize we don’t hang onto empty boxes so I’ve started to hang onto them. You can actually store them in the rack and it just goes in as an empty box in the storage room and there’s no label that pops up on the shelf, so I’ve started storing several of each empty box so when I buy a new license and need to rearrange the whole store to make everything fit and look nice, I have a surplus of empty boxes to use. I know that won’t work for everyone because storage spaces limited, and you have to buy racks and it cost money but overtime, it’s doable.
I'd love some extra long episodes! This gameplay is so relaxing, I love it! I also wouldn't mind watching you rearrange the products on the shelves or storage to be more categorized.
LOVING this sereis !! . If you no sure how to price can always jack up the price say 50c then see how it goes if its al going goo dthen jack up $1 . Play the way you feel is best for you can always experiment and see how your customers react . Which ever you choose it doesn tmatter. Can't wait for the next installment aldo LOVING the 45 min + videos jsut the right length
Hi, Regarding prices I inflate by 50 cents then round it off to the nearest 50 cent or dollar. It helps heaps at the cash register! Example- Market price $4.85 + 50 =$5.35. Round to $5.50. Don't have to deal with small change. Cheers
The key is pricing everything right, and the placement and grouping of the foods.. That will ( or should ) bring in more customers. If you move all your registers to the other side, You will have room to move your shelves to the storage side. Then you don't have to have sideways registers. Don't order too much of new licenses until you know what sells and what doesn't.. Well hope this helps you out in some way.. Your pricing seems right on point..
Empty your single fridges and sell the fridges, order double fridges, you save a bit (375 instead of 400) for the same amount of stackable area. Also - round up your figures to 50c, much faster on change giving and keypad entry.
I still think buying in bulk when the products drop in price would help you make more of a profit when they do go up. Maybe stop buying so many product licences before you've had a chance to make back your money on what you've spent on the existing licences would be good too lol 😅 If I was playing I would be rounding up to the nearest $1, $5 and $10 too 🤷🏻♀️ But at the end of the day we come here to watch you play the game GE! 😎 lol just have fun! 😊❤
This is such an enjoyable series to watch. Especially from you. I tried watching 2 other YTers but you're the most chill and calming. Definitely gonna sub. Thanks for your hard work and I hope you continue this series as long as possible.
As a supermarket employee irl, I highly suggest sectioning your store as much as you can - so have a chilled and frozen section separate from your shelving areas. I know you're waiting on another expansion for more space, but visually I feel it would look better. You could also try not putting shelves directly back to back and leaving a gap between them, so you can line up another shelf along the ends without it sticking out too much. (If that even makes any sense, I'm terrible at describing things, but its how shelving aisles are in the supermarket I work in 😅) I don't recommend putting the prices up too much though, I don't think customers would buy as much so it'd just be detrimental. Maybe try 50cents higher? Very much still loving this series!
Play as you want. I raise my prices about 10%. If item is 2.45, add 10% (.24) = 2.69, I set it for 2.65. If it’s 23.45 + 10%(2.35) = 25.80. I may do 25.75 sometimes. If you go over market, someone will find it pensive, but not everyone. I am early in the game but feel that I still make good money each day. When I can see if things are not selling with data or the same item keeps coming up as expensive, I can start tweaking. But, to each their own.
Heya, I don’t think upping prices would be a good thing. It would affect your score. And people won’t buy it. In terms of your fridges being fully stacked. I don’t think you should over fill them. I would only fill them if they are best sellers, personally. Each shelf is money. I like your thinking in being frugal. Buy more items and fill the shelves/fridges etc with that. I do feel you need to one up your sections/aisles. Cleaning aisles would never have food near there for example. Your shelving is good but could be more tighter. But ultimately, this is your game. You play it how ever you want. Have fun!
You can have all the ham you want, Ill pass lol ive never had veal...im not one for cereal very often, i prefer oatmeal but i do like shredded wheat - i think you said you like that also. I do like original shredded wheat but also like the frosted kind just not blueberry, dont like blueberries. But not crazy about sugary cereals and dont buy them often. The store is looking a bit bare but i know that wont last...you're doing great! ❤ya!
Don´t bring the prizes up, but grind for getting the book licence, I think it´s store lvl 70 and another on lvl 81. The books costs almost nothing and your profit is like 6💲on one book.
If you pick up a register like you are going to move it. The customers would move to the other two registers. Cash they go behind and cc they go straight out the door
I've talked w other players who have leveled up to 100, got all the growth expansions and all the licenses and still don't make it to 5k of profit in a day. Not sure if jacking prices will help. The dev needs to revamp the cost of our growth coz as it stands right now it's just not worth it.
hi um did you know they sell pet food? I didnt know if you knew or not, I saw it on another you tube channel. :) I hope you get to the real high monies soon
Just jack up the prices on just one and experiment and see if you make any money off that because, it might actually hurt you income but,,, maybe since it's a game, it's a nice little cheat that works out, So, like I said just try it out for a couple days and see if works.
and just to teach you something, ham and Prosciutto are the same thing... The only difference is that ham is steamed, while Prosciutto is raw, salted and cured
i have seen freezers of item right by the registers. it is called temptation items people see it and think they need so they buy. same thing with coolers of pop or ice cream by check outs.

It's definitely not the placement I want. Just need one more expansion. Thanks, you rock
Nice video
Jacking up prices will lose you some sales and lose you points too. Honestly it's however you want to play We'll enjoy watching either way!
Thanks, you rock
U rock gameedged i love this series
Yes
Thanks for watching, you rock

I would say No - dont Jack up the prices. But I am just at the very start of the video! So we’ll see if you do and what difference it makes
Thanks, you rock
If you raise prices too high i think you may loose sales, but i don't know i have not played the game. Thanks GE you're the best!
That I do worry. Thanks, you rock
20 cents over market is the ideal prices.
Look at the tuna price !!!
❤❤❤❤
Don´t bring the prizes up, but grind for getting the book licence, I think it´s store lvl 70 and another on lvl 81. The books costs almost nothing and your profit is like 6💲on one book.
its the cop from the walking dead 4:49
Put 5 registers so u can get all 4 cashier's and still be able to ring ppl up when u want to.
Thanks, you rock
Maybe pricing is based on supply/demand. If you have more of it on your shelf they are want to pay less. Idk
If you pick up a register like you are going to move it. The customers would move to the other two registers. Cash they go behind and cc they go straight out the door

Yes the dev will need to fix that asap. Thanks, you rock
looks like jake jilenhal (sp?) @ 4:54
How come you don't have every shelf filled instead of all those empty spots?
hi um did you know they sell pet food? I didnt know if you knew or not, I saw it on another you tube channel. :) I hope you get to the real high monies soon
Very cool thanks, you rock
the pet food in i think a few licenses from where he is, he has to be at least level 70
Just jack up the prices on just one and experiment and see if you make any money off that because, it might actually hurt you income but,,, maybe since it's a game, it's a nice little cheat that works out, So, like I said just try it out for a couple days and see if works.
Cool thanks, you rock
I was shopping the other day and seen that someone put a big 20 dollar ribeye steak on a random shelf. Talk about profit loss.
Don't jack up the prices... It's a simulator,. play as true to real life as possible. Don't do it like you have a monopoly.
Why not try a full row of each cereal, instead of leaving it empty?? Stack all the shelves FULL to the max GE!
Thanks, you rock
Why not make a dollar on each product. They might find it expensive, but you will make money. so if its 6:99 you make it 7:99 and so on.
Hi all. My game has just started freezing when I checkout someone. I cannot play anymore! Can you help?
I run 3$ high
And no problems... nice
@gameedged
Slowed a bit. However, the math works out in my favor
Just for the sake of being annoying... "Prosciutto di Milano" doesn't exist... Prosciutto is from Parma
and just to teach you something, ham and Prosciutto are the same thing... The only difference is that ham is steamed, while Prosciutto is raw, salted and cured
I'm wondering if you've ever actually been in a shop? That freezer and cash station layout is just horrible.
I have and planned on changing everything up once I have the next expansion. Thanks for watching, cheers
i have seen freezers of item right by the registers. it is called temptation items people see it and think they need so they buy. same thing with coolers of pop or ice cream by check outs.
Instead of jacking up the prices, u should jack this game out the window and play some good survival games, sunkenland is missed
LOL thanks for the feedback, you rock
Awesome game
