Causes of low humidity over Arabian sea-
1 Trade winds flow over it after crossing Indian subcontinent.
2 Usually there is high pressure over the western Indian ocean(Indian ocean dipole)

Wonderful explanation sir. Sir i have a question: At 1st when we studied factors influencing oceanic salinity it was mentioned that evaporation is inversely proportional to the salinity while when we study controlling factors it was mentioned that evaporation is directly proportional to salinity. why? I am confused between two statements please clear my doubt sir.

When there will be more evaporation water content will become less increasing the salt content hence salinity should increase. As i think 🤔

density is inversely proportional to temperature that is because of thermal expansion(gm/cm^3)

Please rectify your mistake...It's Halocline from where salinity incerase sharply not Thermocline. Thermocline is related to Temprature...🤣
