Cows are smaller within the EU, since we have regulations to stop them being given various growth hormones (fun fact: including estrogen, which has been scientifically proven to show that the milk drunk from 'estrogenate' cows has more estrogen in and is making peoples penises smaller in America). So growth hormones are probably one of many reasons xD

The fuck are you talking about? American, Japanese and Argentinian beef are the only beef that is sought after across the world. Those are the countries known for beef. I live in Germany and American beef is everywhere. German beef is super lean and tough. Not great.
@@taxidrivernwo you’re not understanding my point. Sure high quality premium beef makes it way to Europe but the standard American beef is illegal in the EU because of food standards. The average American cow is filled with hormones and antibiotics which aren’t allowed in European food.
Just to help solidify the principle do you really think there would be a difference in quality without food standards? Farmers would just buy American cattle and breed them, then cut out import tax and sell their meats at much lower prices for huge attention.
It’s not that beef is illegal per say it’s the means the Americans take to standardise that quality across their nation that is illegal. Therefore the European trading bloc would never allow cheap “good tasting” American beef as it would be disastrous for home farmers. Europe is one big trading bloc which has one set of rules to help facilitate fair trade, most American methods violate the EU level food standards therefore sale of those products is illegal as it creates unfair competition.
