Buenaventura is a high-powered shot of energy, featuring fast Latin percussion, lots of driving syncopations and even a short jazz section that struts a walking bass line before the dynamic conclusion, you'll want to play this tune again and again.
Most of the musicians playing here are 12 - 19 years old. The Wind Ensemble, formed in 2001, provides training and performance opportunities for brass and woodwind players of minimum Grade 3/Gr 4 standard. The repertoire includes a variety of popular, folk, classical and jazz music.
